brain drain due to inefficiency and political agenda...

STPM results came out more than a month ago and National University of Singapore has already offered admissions to Malaysians while our Ministry of Education still ponders on... Why the unnecessary delay? Need i explain further? My title says it all......
A university ranked 33rd in world ranking is able to recognise talent across the border and snapped them right under our nose while ours chose to remain complacent and blinded by the practise of political agendas. Unbelievably stupid!!

market trend: market cycle explained..

Since my last update on 14th May, our CI did attacked the overhead resistant of 1297 and trend slightly higher. That momentary attack was however short-lived with overseas markets being attacked by records setting crude prices and recessionary pressure on US economy. And our domestic market was further pushed into the realms of uncertainties with the sudden twist of events in the political scene.

Let me spare you from all those bullshit explanations on what had had happened... The true fact was that we were still at the vicious consolidation cycle. Now that we have come towards the end of the cycle, we would want to know what is in store for us in the coming cycle. Is this going to be a 'calm before a storm' scenario? CI have in fact retraced lower with daily volume getting thinner by the day.

What the next cycle is going to bring us remains everyone guesses. And with so many negative factors affecting the current world economies, the near future looks bleak to the eyes of those who monitor the situation. Further drastic write-downs from sub-prime mortgages is expected at least till the first half of 2009. What about crude price? Is the price being speculated beyond the actual demand and supply theory? The sudden volatility in crude prices this week- was that a sign of further inflation of the oil bubble? What would be the effect of an oil bubble burst?

When one have so many questions hanging over the head, it actually tells us of the uncertainties that lurks around dangerously. However, i am going to ignore all these as i believe markets around the world have reacted enough to those sub-prime woes. In other words, it has already been discounted and reflected in the current market prices.

Please sit back and allow me to take you through the journey of cycles in a stock market. Each cycle is like the waves of the sea. As we know, a wave always starts from the centre of the ocean and moves towards the shore and splash! And it all ends there which is exactly where our cycle is heading now. Shoreline is already visible ahead. In other words, a complete cycle is the formation of the first wave from the centre of the sea to it crashes into the shore.

The intensity of each wave is determine by the forces of the surrounding pressure and an experience seaman will know in advance when there is a big wave ahead just by looking at the telltale signs from the surroundings.

The same principle is applicable to observers of share market. We are standing at the shore looking at the waves crashing into the shore. How do we know when there is a big high intensified wave already forming at the centre of the ocean? Simple, isn't it? Just identify those telltale signs from where we are standing. After all, the sea will retreat miles before a tsunami strikes.

Now that i have given you an insight of market cycle and that our market is reaching the conclusion of a cycle, our job now is to lookout for signs that will determine the start of the next cycle and its intensity. Those telltale signs will be visible in the form of volume traded, behaviour of the movement of index etc. etc.

At the moment, the behaviour of our market is consistent to the behaviour of the wave reaching the shoreline.. fading as it comes nearer to the shore. Consistent in the sense that our market was going through a whole cycle of consolidation for the past few months. Identical trend will takes us way back to May 2006 during the World Cup period.

I must end my journey here and i hope you have learn something to guide you in managing your money by applying the rule of 'investing through cycles'.

Be on alert for the next 10 trading days for telltale sign.

Comments and further queries are most welcome through this blog.

Message to the Prime Minister...

I was 9 years old and living close to the place of incident when racial riot first erupted on May 13th, 1969. It wasn’t a pleasant sight that any child wanted to witness at that tender age. And it took years to finally understand why and how it happened to finally be able to erase these horrifying incidents off my memory. It definitely wasn’t about Malays, Chinese or Indian failing to live and work together in peace. It was about some individuals with their selfish need for power that used other people to stir up racial sentiments to achieve their aims regardless of the number of lives loss as long as it is not theirs or that of their families. And to those who instigated the 1969 racial unrest, where were you when the incident happened?

Over the past weeks, there have been unhealthy signs of instigation made by Mahathir that could lead to a repeat of history. Any instigation made by a man of his caliber should not be taken lightly despite his fading popularity among the rakyat. For, he is someone who has no qualms of bringing destruction to all, just to satisfy his ego.

Mr. Prime Minister, the time has finally arrived for us to deal a final blow and silence this tyrant once and for all. It is also time for all the rakyat across the nation to be given the opportunity to unite into One Voice. Yes, that One Voice loud enough to knock some sense into his thick skull. That One Voice with a message to the world: Malaysians for Peace, Malaysians for Racial Integration and Malaysia for Malaysians.

Mr. Prime Minister, may i suggest with the power vested in you, to allow a day for the rakyat to gather across the nation in unity to convey our heartfelt desire for peace. It will also be a day where all political differences shall be set aside so that all representatives will work together towards the rakyat's aspiration for a peaceful Malaysia.

I do not want to speculate on the importance of having this gathering, more so on the kind of advantage or advantages this event is going to bring to the country. I am just The Whisperer, a lone whispering voice but i am sure that there are plenty out there who share my sentiment.

So Mr. Prime Minister, take a moment of your time and give this a serious thought.

Thank you.
Anak Bangsa Malaysia.

a leopard never changes its spots...

Something from TheEdge Daily for those who missed it.
"Nearly 40 years ago as a young Umno rebel, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad went on a tirade against the leadership of Tunku Abdul Rahman. Dr Mahathir cleverly used the race angle, accusing the Tunku of failing to protect and promote the interests of the Malays. He was sacked by Umno, a move which made him a hero with the Malay community.

When the Tunku resigned in the aftermath of the May 13, 1969 race riots, his successor Tun Abdul Razak not only brought Dr Mahathir back to the party but also paved the way for him to become Umno president and prime minister in 1981.

Dr Mahathir is now hoping to topple the current Umno president and prime minister by playing the same game — adopting the race angle and hoping to stoke fear and anger among the Malays against Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Just listen to the speeches he has been giving since the March 8 elections, the latest last week in Johor when he said the Malays were losing their grip on power.

At a gathering of some 1,000 people, he said: "If we don't speak up, if we choose to keep quiet, we will lose our rights and the other races will take over."

On his blog, he recently wrote: "Today, the Malays have lost their political power and the non-Malays no longer respect the Malays and the Malay institutions. All the special rights of the Malays are being challenged and questioned. And the Malays cannot do anything to strengthen their position."

The fact is power in this country is still very much in the control of the Malays and will remain so and no non-Malay would dare challenge Malay institutions like the royalty. In fact, the last time we checked, the only person who had done anything against the Malay royalty was Dr Mahathir himself when he was the all powerful prime minister who tolerated no challenge to his authority and views.

But obviously Dr Mahathir will not let facts get in the way of his fear mongering and his current goal to knock out Abdullah.

Dr Mahathir was hoping that the Umno leadership would sack him like they did in 1969, but Abdullah has learnt from the Tunku. He didn't want to make Dr Mahathir a hero or trigger a wave of sympathy for him.

Frustrated that Abdullah did not sack him, Dr Mahathir on Monday decided to quit Umno and swore to return only when Abdullah is no longer the leader. He also urged Umno members to follow him.

Throughout his political career, Dr Mahathir is obsessed with only what suits him and will do anything to try and get what he wants. The consequences didn't matter. Everything and everybody else is collateral damage.

Be it the tension that led to May 13, 1969; the political infighting in Umno that ended with the 1987 arrest under the ISA of over 100 people and the sacking of six top judges just as the court was set to hear an Umno appeal case; to the vicious 1998 crackdown on his then deputy and supporters, one common theme stood out — Dr Mahathir had to get what he wanted.

Everything and everybody else is collateral damage.

It's the same with his latest move to resign from Umno and his use of the race card to attack Abdullah's leadership. Dr Mahathir doesn't care if Umno, already reeling from the aftershock of the March 8 elections, plunges into turmoil.

Dr Mahathir doesn't care that his racist attempts to ignite the anger of the Malays will create unnecessary tension. Dr Mahathir will resort to anything to get what he wants. Everything and everybody else — including Malaysia and the people of Malaysia — is collateral damage.
He has succeeded in the past. This time, we must not let him get away with it.
Umno and its members must not end up as collateral damage to enable Dr Mahathir to get what he wants. The rakyat and the country must not end up as collateral damage just so that Dr Mahathir can get what he wants.

Tun Musa Hitam said on Monday that the era of Mahathirism was over. The people of Malaysia must show in an emphatic way that it is by rejecting Dr Mahathir's latest stunt and use of the race card."

to heaven or to hell...

An old lady dies and goes to heaven.
She's chatting it up with St. Peter at the Pearly Gates
when all of a sudden she hears the most awful, blood curdling screams
Don't worry about that,' says St. Peter,
'It's only someone having the holes put into her shoulder blades for the wings.
'The old lady looks a little uncomfortable but carries on
with the conversation.

Ten minutes later, there are more blood curdling screams.
"Oh my God,' says the old lady, 'now what is happening?'
'Not to worry,' says St. Peter,
'She's just having her head drilled to fit the halo.''
'I can't do this,' says the old lady, 'I'm going to hell.'
'You can't go there,' says St. Peter.
'You'll be raped and taken advantage of.'
'Maybe so, says the old lady, but I've already got the
holes for that.'

high stakes that could jeopardize Malaysia...

"Dr Mahathir Mohamad has warned of possible unrest in multi-racial Malaysia, accusing his successor, Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, of failing to assert his authority.

Now we are seeing the different races making demands on the government, which they perceive as a weak government," the former premier told reporters in Tokyo yesterday.

He said "extremists" among different communities had begun to voice their opposition and make unfair demands on the government, trying to "divide rather than unite." - Report from MalaysiaKini
Just when i thought i could take a weekend off politics and there he went again maliciously stirring racial shits like an old dog being cornered trying to bite back. But then for him to make statement like that at every opportunity whenever media is present, i feel i have a responsibility to state my view on his actions and hope that what i post here will somehow help the general public to see from another angle.

One most important thing we have to bear in mind is that whatever this old fool does, it is always done with evil intention.

So what is he up to this time? First, we have to analyse what is at stake for him. One thing that comes to mind is the Lingam's tape controversies. The call by Royal Commission to open up this case for investigation may unveil many other cans of worms which involved his comrades in arm during his tenure. A stake too high at risk for him and his cronies?

Then we looked back to recent events that lead to his malicious speech in Tokyo. In the beginning, there was this meeting with Najib followed by he quitting Umno when Najib was holidaying in Middle East with taxpayers' money on the pretense of attending a conference.
What a coincidence for a smooth turn of events giving rise to this question: was there a pact between Mahathir and Najib? Probably so, given that both of them are covered with poohs of almost similar nature. Another high stake at risk?

Now we narrow down to Mahathir's warning of possible unrest. Was it intended as a threat to Pak Lah's administration or was he actually trying to create one?

One thing for sure is that he is plotting something to divert attention away from his wrongdoings. It is definitely not about the country, Umno or even the Malay supremacy agenda that he is concerned with. We are dealing with a psycho who has a history of bringing destruction to others in his quest for self gratifications. An unrest would be ideal to bring out an emergency rule which will benefit him and a few.

Whatever it is, i urge all rakyat regardless of parties or races, to stay on guard and maintain a mature mentality towards peace and one Malaysian for the betterment of our country. Don't let ourselves be fooled again by this lowest form human.

And to Pak Lah, Nazri and fourth floor boys, are you all blind or just simply don't have the balls? This is sedition of highest degree.. How about charging him under Sedition Act, greased his ass and present him in a crouching position on a platter and send him to Kamunting? I already guessed so.

saving Planet Earth....

This article have been circulated over the internet. Thought it would be informative to blog this article to help pass the message across the world... for the battle against global warming.. For saving Planet Earth.

Mr. Juseleeno, born in 1960 (reportedly still alive in 2008), is a Brazilian who has made many predictions, and MOST have come to pass, including Princess Diana’s death by car accident (which is instigated by someone near her and will probably unfortunately be written off as a car accident), 911 and the 2004 Indonesian tsunami.

He sees the future in his dreams, and has an average of 3 to 9 such predictions per day. When he wakes up, he will write them down, and send warnings to those concerned. If it concerns only a normal individual, he will write a letter to warn him/her. If it is a famous person (celebrity, politician etc.), or matters concerning the public, he will not only send it to the individual himself/herself, but also related agencies, government, and media. He urged the media to publicise these predictions, but the reply always went along the lines of rejection for fear of arousing public panic.

Future predictions:

2008, July: There will be an earthquake in Japan, which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus metres high to occur as well.

2008, 18th September: An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China , simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 metres to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people. Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics have ended, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. The China government, which is more concerned with the success of the Olympics, will most likely neglect to employ appropriate cautionary measures, thus the high casualty rate. If the China government does not publicise the occurrence of these minor earthquakes and evacuate people, the number of deaths will be as predicted.

2008, 17th Dec: Terrorist attack in America.

2010: The temperatures in some countries of Africa could be as high as 58 degrees Celsius, and there will be a serious shortage of water.

2010, 15th June: The New York Stock Exchange market will fail, causing an international financial crisis.

2011: The research on the treatment of some cancers will be completed, but a new life-threatening virus will appear. People who are infected will die after only approx. 4 hours of coming into contact with the virus.

2013, 1st – 25th November: Research on treatment of cancers, except for brain tumors, will be completed. An earthquake, caused by volcanic eruptions, will happen on Bahama Island of the Canary Islands. A gigantic tsunami of roughly 150 metres will result. America mainlands, Brazil etc. will be affected, with the tsunami pushing into the land as far as 15 to 20 kilometres. Before the occurrence of this gigantic tsunami, the sea/ocean water levels will sink by about 6 metres, and large flocks of birds will start to migrate.

2014: A small planet that has been gradually closing in on Earth might eventually collide with Earth, and this collision, if come to pass, will affect the survival of humans as a whole.

2015: By the mid of November, the average temperature of Earth could be as high as 59 degrees Celsius. Many people will die from the overheating, and international confusion and terror ensues.

2016, April: A huge typhoon will invade China, causing massive damage. The 43rd USA president, George Walker Bush, will enter the hospital, and faces a life or death situation.

2026, July: A super earthquake will occur in Sans Francisco, and it will be named “The Big One”. Huge damage to surrounding areas. Many volcanoes will re-activate, and the height of resulting tsunami will be more than 150 metres.

Mr. Juseleeno made known his predictions in hopes that people will take heed of his warnings, so that these disasters may be avoided. He hopes there will be a major change in the thinking of people’s mindsets in the time period 2007 – 2008. One factor will be the environmental issue of global warming, which is more serious than what some meteorologists assume.

Whether these predictions will materialise or not, i think it's high time for everybody to play their part towards a greener and cleaner environment. The signs are already showing everywhere with climate changes and with disasters, getting more and more devastating.

ACT NOW BEFORE THIS PLANET EARTH FALLS APART !!

a tale of two stories...

The story
I remembered when our family first shifted to a new residential estate back in 1975. The residential estate was surrounded by kampungs. I remembered growing up playing football, building tree house and modifying my bicycle with Malay boys from the neighboring kampungs. Of course there were fights and arguments between us but it would fizzle off within hours as the basic rule of who is right or wrong was strictly upheld those days.

I was 15 years old then and at that growing age, my stomach was perpetually craving for food. After school, i would patronized this goreng pisang stall to satisfy my urge. This stall was run by a makcik and pakcik would helped out after his work as a security guard at the government complex in Jalan Duta. This went on for years till one fine day, the local municipal people came and tore down their stall. By then, their toddlers have grown up and pakcik and makcik decided to retire to care for their newborn grandchild.

And last Sunday while i was walking towards my car and there was pakcik in his motorcycle speeding towards me. We exchanged greetings, update each other on family members and talked about yesteryear.. yes yesteryear.. a bond that both our families shared till today despite of our racial difference. It was a happy encounter which was clearly shown on our faces and the warmth that radiates through us when we talked with hands over each other shoulders was overwhelming. I knew this spirit will lives on between pakcik and me.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another story
Let me fast froward to 1987, the year Suzanne was born. I remembered having to send my wife to Gombak for her post natal traditional massage. Nek was an ex-nurse and Tok, well into his 80s, was a retired soldier. Tok and i would talked about everything over tea and some cakes while we waited for Nek to complete her tedious application of traditional post natal care.

Well, i am not going to bore you with details of our conversation. On the final course and before i leave, i remembered Tok uttered this phrase ' nampak ular biar lepas, nampak mamak pukui sampai mati' which i never stop to ask what he actually meant by that.

Over the years and the nature of my business requires me to meet people from all walks of lives. i have finally understood the true meaning of that phrase. My encounters with them as friends and as business associates would eventually ended in one conclusion - they betrayed my sincerity and my trust. They Betray!!

Thank you, Tok for your words of wisdom and i know who you were referring to now.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Tale

Malays are generally nice and simple people during my time. It is quite disheartening to see how the present days Malays are being manipulated into believing their supremacy over other races, by merely continuing to shout aloud ' Ketuanan Melayu' without really looking deeply into the origin and motives behind this call. Perhaps it is because of their simplicity that makes them an easy target to manipulation by a cunning, unscrupulous mamak in the like of Mahathir.

Mahathir saw and understood the Malays. Simple and laid back. And Malays being the majority, he knew if he can manipulate the Malays he could get into power. He plotted and shit stirred his way into power. Once in power, he started to segregate the Malays from other races by propagandising the NEP and Malay supremacy agenda so that Malays wont be influence by other races and that helped to hide his evil intention. He lowered the standard of our education system and turned schools into brainwashing centre. This act alone is like killing two birds with one stone. It is to stunt the brain growth of the next generation to come while making Malays into believing that they have improved in status. Smart Malays would be suppressed while brainless ones with polishing skills will be brought forward to progress further in his administration....

What he did behind the scene after that is needless for me to explain as it has become public knowledge. The people he left behind when he quit are only skillful in corruption and polishing. They don't have the slightest idea of how to run this administration. Let alone change. Draconian laws are retained to protect themselves when they are cornered. So beware!!

learning through pure awareness...

" The mind is your past. Die to your past and you will suddenly become fully conscious. The past is nothing but dead debris. Get rid of it and you will learn how to witness. When you die to your past, to your thoughts and your memories, then you will be fully in the present. When you truly exist in the present, you are simply witnessing. The past can only exist as long as there are thoughts. When the thoughts are eliminated, the past disappears and you abide in your own Self. The Self does nothing but witness. The Self is not a person - it is Pure Awareness. It is completely detached from all phenomena. It is the state of becoming the one subject, the core of your existence. "

enough is enough... just fuck off mahathir!!

Mahathir quit Umno.. What's the big fucking deal about him? Why does everybody still bother to pay so much attention to him? This is a guy who loves to get attention in any way he could. Just go back to his early days and see clearly for yourself whether you can list down anything good about him? I bet you it is easier to list down his negative behaviours. He who lies, who cheats, who destroys, who corrupts, who shit stirs, who oppresses, who betrays and the list just goes on and on...

It is indeed sad to notice that many Malaysians still worship him as if he have had done us good. How f**cking shortsighted we Malaysians can be! All his so-called developments have been destructive to the country and the rakyat. And it takes the 1997 financial crisis to uncover all his misdeeds.

And we are still paying very dearly for his malpractices.

Still blind? Or choose to be ignorant? I definitely have had enough of him..

don't laugh on other's life...

Don't Laugh on other's Life
Life can Change without warning.
I've learned that no matter what happens,
or how bad it seems today,
life does go on,
and it may be better tomorrow.
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person
by the way he/she handles
a rainy day and lost luggage.
I've learned that regardless of your relationship
with your parents,
you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.
I've learned that making a "living"
is not the same thing as making a "life."
I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life
with a catcher's mitt on both hands.
You need to be able to throw something back.
I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart,
I usually make the right decision.
I've learned that even when I have pains,
I don't have to be one.
I've learned that every day
you should reach out and touch someone.
People love that human touch -
holding hands, a warm hug,
or just a friendly pat on the back.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn
Please respect everybody.

raising kids these days...

If you are a parent, you have many aspirations for your child that may include him or her becoming a doctor, an engineer, scientist or another kind of successful professional. I believe these aspirations are driven by your thinking about your child's future, and her centrality in your life.

Since good education is often the passport to a good future, I presume it leads you to getting your child admitted to a good school. Then you encourage your child to study hard and do well in school exams. To bolster this, you send him or her for tuition classes. This would have primed your child for board exams and entrance exams, thereby leading to admission into a good professional course. Doing well at college increases the probability of landing a good job. And a good job means the child's future is ensured.

I am neither a psychologist nor an educationist, and what I will now state may seem counter-intuitive. I think that these aspirations and actions might be doing more harm than good to your child. To understand why, we need to re-examine some of our fundamental assumptions.

In the first place, I have seen time and again that living for some distant future goal also means you do not live in the present. The distant goal will always translate into an external measure of success, such as exams. And most exam-focused children start forgetting what it means to be a child – to be curious, mischievous, exploring, falling, getting up, relating, discovering, inventing, doing and playing.

Childhood is very precious; precious enough not be wasted by the artificial pressures of contrived competition, by too many hours of bookish study, and by school report cards that simplistically wrap up an entire human being in numbers.

The second assumption is that education is merely a ticket to socio-economic success. Given the state of our country, this reality cannot be ignored. But restricting education to only this aspect is , I think, a very limiting notion of the aim of good education.

The primary purpose of a school is to guide the child in her discovery of herself and her world, and to identify and nurture the child's talents. Just as every seed contains the future tree, each child is born with infinite potential. Imagine a school which sees children as seeds to be nurtured – here the teacher is a gardener who helps to bring out the potential already present in the child.

This is very different from the current view which sees the child as clay to be moulded – where the teacher and parents are potters deciding what shape the clay should take. There is an old (and forgotten) Chinese saying " Give a seed to a potter, and you will get a bonsai".

Even in a commercial organization, to make profits we do not have to chase profits. Rather, we need to build an institution that gives every employee an opportunity to do meaningful and fulfilling work. Create an organization driven by values of innovation, integrity, customer centricity and care. And as you practice these values everyday and moment, you will see that the profits take care of themselves.

Similarly, dear parent, this is my request to you. Do not give up your child's present to secure his or her future. Give your child the freedom to truly explore life with abandon. In doing this, you will see your child flower into a creative and sensitive human being. And when this happens, everything else – money, social success, security – will fall into place automatically.

Let your child be a child.

when the government is weak, people don't respect you anymore..

This is what Mahathir said and his version of respect. Lets not forget the fact that the present government is continuing to rule exactly the way he have been ruling for the past 2 decades. Perhaps, he himself felt that he had garnered unanimous respect during his tyranny rule. He must be fucking joking. The only difference between the present rule and his rule boils down to the level of oppressive rule.

During his time, ISA and OSA was used indiscriminately to cover all his wrongdoings and that of his related cronies. Our judicial system was not even spared. So what is so weak about the present government when all they do is to try to straighten some of your flawed system of injustice, inequalities, oppression, misleading lies etc etc. I cant really include corruption here as they are still practising to the fullest.

It is not a easy task for anyone to cure the disease that you have brought to this country. And i don't see any chance of curing this disease by the present government as they themselves are contaminated.

The strength of a government is simply determine by its policies. All these policies need to have a high standard of ethics, must be just and most importantly, it must be caring in nature. Only if the government can implement such policies without prejudice, respect will come naturally. Respect need to be earned. There is no 2 way about it.

Ask yourself and your own conscience (if you have one) what have you done to earn my respect? I have no respect for you at all. For what you have done to this country. And for choosing to lead the lowest form of human life.
Why don't you just spend your remaining years correcting your wrongs before you go to HELL?

sweet hypocrisy, ignorance or irony??..

najib explains scorpene and sukhoi purchases..

Here is some excerpts from Najib's clarification to the parliament over the purchases of Scorpene submarines and Sukhoi fighter jets denying the payment of commission directly and indirectly.

"Reiterating a statement that he had made earlier over the issue, Najib denied any payment was made to IMT Defence over the Sukhoi jets deal, adding that the company is the sole representative of Russian company Rosoboronexport in Malaysia with which the Defence Ministry negotiated directly to secure the deal.

Najib also reiterated that the payment to Perimaker was not a commission but payment for being the ‘project services provider’ and coordinator for a period of six months.

The government "did not and has never paid any commission - either directly or indirectly" to Perimaker - which he said is owned by the Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT), Boustead Holdings Bhd and KS Ombak Laut Sdn Bhd."

Let's leave Altanthuya aside and focus on his explanation. In the first place, why are we paying so much more for the Scorpene submarines and Sukhoi jets of the same specifications as compared to other countries. And where on earth would somebody want to be the sole representative for Sukhoi jets? You think sell cars meh. Either they are out of their freaking mind or everything was premeditated. And lastly, why the need to pay 530 taxpayer millions as services provider and negotiator fee to Perimaker? Just another decent word for malpractice. I can do it for 53 million and donate half to charities. Purchases of such magnitude at exorbitant prices.. no amount of explanation can justifies the scandals behind these purchases.

In future, if there is such good opportunity, dont forget to count me in. I am willing to do it for a 1.5% fee of the actual purchase amount. No need to mark up till it make our country a laughing stock to the world.

We, the rakyat must be nerds in the eyes of Najib for this type of lame explanations.

F**k YOU!!

market trend:my 2 cent take..

I wanted to post my comment last night but i wasn't feeling exactly too well. Slept before 9pm last night and i never find the time to post my comment this morning. And now, i don't know whether it is appropriate to give my view on the trend especially when we have tested 1297 level yesterday and again today. Yeah right, an immediate double top in 2 consecutive day and that puts us in a neither/nor situation.

Nevertheless, i will take this as a challenge and try to apply all my know-hows to this current situation. First, we have to look at what are the signs available. Volume wise, it's still healthily consistent. Momentum wise, steel stocks are ready to take a correction. So beware..

To keep the momentum going, there is a need for rotation play. Look into water stocks and selective glcs stocks preferably related to iskandar southern corridor related stocks. However, i strongly advise against speculation as it is not worth the risk to go on speculation at this stage when our market is still at the tail-end of the consolidation cycle. Risk reward ratio is still not in favor of speculation. One need to be very sharp and precise. Daytrade if possible.

Index wise, the immediate resistant is still at 1297 and it is critical that this level have to be tested and break out again tomorrow. Otherwise, it will be another range bound market. One positive indicator will be from the futures today. The futures index did break its short term resistant at 1297.50 momentarily before it corrected and closed at 1295. Under normal circumstances, i would take the cash market as the guide but today i chose to take the lead from the futures market.

Yes i would take a small long on the futures tomorrow with a stop loss point at 1288. Still it is favorable to punt the futures as the risk reward ratio is of equal status.
Good luck to you till you hear from me again.

may 13th the genuine version.. tunku abdul rahman

I found something interesting in Raja Petra's blog and i wish to highlight it so that people who surfed the blogosphere wont be mislead by those who attempted to change history by painting it in a different picture.
From Tunku's residence in Penang, 1972:

'It was clear to me as well as the police that in the highly charged political atmosphere after the police were forced to kill a Chinese political party worker on May 4th, 1969, something was bound to happen to threaten law and order because of the resentment towards the Government by the KL Chinese on the eve of the general election. This was confirmed at this man's funeral on the 9th May when the government faced the most hostile crowd it had ever seen.

Therefore, when the opposition parties applied for a police permit for a procession to celebrate their success in the results of the generalelection, I was adamant against it because the police were convinced that this would lead to trouble.

I informed Tun Razak about this and he seemed to agree. Now, without my knowledge and actually 'behind my back,' there were certain political leaders in high positions who were working to force me to step down as a PM. I don't want to go into details but if they had come to me and said so I would gladly have retired gracefully.

Unfortunately, they were apparently scheming and trying to decide on the best way to force me to resign. The occasion came when the question of the police permit was to be approved.

Tun Razak and Harun Idris, the MB of the state of Selangor, now felt that permission should be given knowing fully well that there was a likelihood of trouble. I suppose they felt that when this happened they could then demand my resignation.

To this day I find it very hard to believe that Razak, whom I had known for so many years, would agree to work against me in this way. Actually, he was in my house as I was preparing to return to Kedah andI overhead him speaking to Harun over the phone saying that he would be willing to approve the permit when I left. I really could not believe what I was hearing and preferred to think it was about some other permit. In any case, as the Deputy Prime Minister in my absence from KL, he would be the Acting PM and would override my objection. Accordingly, when I was in my home in Kedah, I heard over the radio that the permit had been approved.

It seems as though the expected trouble was anticipated and planned for by Harun and his UMNO Youth. After the humiliating insults hurled by the non-Malays, especially the Chinese, and after the seeming loss of Malay political power to them, they were clearly ready for some retaliatory action. After meeting in large numbers at Harun's official residence in Jalan Raja Muda near Kampong Bahru and hearing inflammatory speeches by Harun and other leaders, they prepared themselves by tying ribbon strips on their foreheads and set out to kill Chinese. The first hapless victims were two of them in a van opposite Harun's house who were innocently watching the large gathering. Little did they know that they would be killed on the spot.

The rest is history. I am sorry but I must end this discussion now because it really pains me as the Father of Merdeka to have to relive those terrible moments. I have often wondered why God made me live long enough to have witnessed my beloved Malays and Chinese citizens killing each other.'
Yup, the rest were history and is behind us now. But this helps to give a true picture as opposed to what Umno have been telling the younger generations to the extent that they tried to distort history by pushing the fault to the Chinese and Indian to justify their barbaric actions. All these were in fact. premeditated before it happen.
In a game of football, when our opponent celebrate after scoring a goal, does that mean we have the right to kill them? Think about it..

something from the past... 96 years later..

our public service department needs total revamp...

Just recently, our MSM carried a report by PSD saying that all SPM candidates with 9 A1s will automatically be qualified for PSD's scholarship and today, we have a candidate with 10 A1s being denied a medical scholarship. This came to me as no surprise as two of my daughters were denied scholarships despite of their 11 As few years back.

What really irks me was their Malay friends with poorer results were given scholarships to further their studies in England and Australia. And most of them were chauffeured driven to school in different high end cars daily. What does all this episode tells my children? How am i going to explain to them? Very well, i chose to tell them the truth about the reality of this stinking, useless biased government's agenda.

This is another stinking case of talk that doesnt walk. They continue to use the media to hoodwink the rakyat while they continue with their Malay supremacy agenda thinking that they can hide their wrongdoings from all of us.

What appeared in today's newspaper could just be the tip of an iceberg. For those who was deny scholarship, please report yourself to the nearest Pakatan Rakyat's service centre so that they can have an account of what is happening behind the scene all along. After today, i wont be surprise to read similar news and this time will be MCA's turn to stake their claim in helping the chinese community.

If everything is done in a proper manner, we wont have the need of politicians to politicise this issue. This is a very serious matter which have been with us for decades.

Suppression of this manner is definitely damaging to the country. How can our country progress further when we have losers running this country?

united voice.. a force to reckon with...

I read the article, ' Malaysian- Are you ready for a civil war or a revolution! by R.Shan posted in Malaysia-Today, with great interest. That word 'revolution' was actually brought up by a foreign investment guy during one of our meet-up sessions and the whole conversation that night was focused on the sorry state our country was in then. That was almost 10 years ago. Till today it is still as sorry.

Malaysia, according to him, is doomed and can only be save by a revolution. What? A revolution? Yes, a revolution, as he continues, would help demolished this rotten system of governance which only brings about corruption and unfair practises only to benefit few. Malaysia needs a total revamp in its system.. and the only way is through a revolution. That was the view of a foreigner but to us Malaysians in general, we never even think all these would be possible after going through decades of racial segregation and draconian laws which they have no hesitation to enforce at their whims and fancies just to protect their positions so that they can continue to mislead and deceive the rakyat while they continue to fleece the rakyat and raped our country's rich natural resources.

The concluded 12th general election signifies the dawn of a new revolutionary era in Malaysia's history where majority of the rakyat shed their racial differences and unite in one voice calling for a change for the betterment of the country. It never occur to me that all these would be possible especially when it is done in such a peaceful and civilised manner. My idea of a revolution was more of a violent nature.

Credit must be given to bloggers like Raja Petra, Haris Ibrahim, Jeff Ooi and many others for generating the truth that speaks many minds and many others who help to spread these messages through emails. This is the first time in history Malaysians have come together in Unity to fight for the same cause.. and this Unity is here to stay.

To those who run this country, better buck up and start revamping the whole hypocritic system. You cant defy this united voice. And for those who has the aspiration to run this country, better start taking notes.
STAY UNITED WE' LL RULE

what my life’s journey has taught me thus far….

I believe in God and I believe all humans are being blessed with God’s gifts… a set of eyes to see, ears to listen, nose to smell, limbs to feel and a brain to analyze. And it’s through God’s gifts; we are able to live a life through experience and learned from what we experienced to be able to seek the reason and the purpose of our existence in this complicated world.

My journey in life has taught me one thing that this world is full of hypocrites where these hypocrites have used religion as a means to their ends. And it is due to human greed for power and through God’s gifts to me that had made me being disillusioned with religion.

And it is also through God’s gifts that I am not ready to be taken in by propaganda as professed by certain religion as being The Right Way or The Only Truth. I do believe all religions preach only the good but my experiences taught me not to place my trust or faith on those hypocrites hiding behind the wall of religion.

Yes indeed, I have chosen to take this path and took the risk of facing the wrath of God but I do have trust and faith in God that God has the fairness in judging based on what is right or wrong and not based on which religion we chose to believe in.

And I know by posting this article on my blog, I will be subjected to condemnation by many quarters. But before any of you do so, please search thyself before you pass any judgement on the path I have chosen. It is my right and it is between me and God and I shall solely be answerable to God myself.

One thing for sure, I know I will be rotting in hell for my sins and I know no amount of repentance or good deeds thereafter is going to change the very fact that we have sinned. So stop lying to yourself by trying to do charities or good deeds to wash away your sins and buy your way to heaven. With all due respect, it does not work that way as far as I am concerned.

For all you know, this is Hell and the moment once Life stopped, it’s Heaven. Try to recall the look of someone we knew who suffered through pain just before they passed away and their look after they passed away. Now you know why I made the above statement.

That is part of what I have learned from my journey thus far.. My journey also taught me to live life the best way possible and to hold high respect towards my creator which refer to my parents and their creators, meaning my grandparents.

Meanwhile, i am going to live life the way i deem fit..

happy birthday... suzanne

How time really flies.. It was like yesterday when i first received you to this world and tasted my first joy of fatherhood. No words can describe the special feeling that engulfed me the first moment i saw you popped into this bright colorful world.

I remembered all the joy you brought with your first smile, your first step and how everyone tried to make you speak your first word.. i was disappointed though that your first word was not papa or daddy despite all my efforts to bribe you..

And today, Di wants to explain Di's stance in adopting an observer role in raising Samantha and you. You see Di always maintain the belief that all human are born with a brain and all the senses that they are require to utilise and learn through the process of living through lives. This is where i gave you both the freedom to think and decide while i stay behind the scene observing each and every path you take and only to barge in when things aren't going right.

I hope this will help clarify and explains the nature of our father and daughter relationship. My lacking of guidance should not be interpreted as lacking in attention or love. My love for you both will never cease to grow.. for you both are my life, my heart and my soul.
It is really hard to believe that you are 21 today. From daddy's girl to a beautiful lady in a nick of time.
Happy 21st Birthday, Suzanne...
With Love,
Daddy

how shallow one's mind can be...

During the weekend, i came across a letter to The Star which made me shake my head in disgust. From this letter alone, we can see clearly for ourselves the kind of byproduct that have been produced during Mahathir's era.

Let me reproduce and share this letter for all of you to judge and comment...
"Reading Huzir Sulaiman's on the former prime minister (Mahathir vs the Malay Rulers, Wide Angle, StarMag May 4) made me sick.

Whatever you may say about Tun (Dr Mahathir Mohamad), it doesn't make him less of a man than he is. He is the best Prime Minister Malaysia ever had. Others pale in comparison with him in every way.

In his time, he built Malaysia to what the country is today. He has touched so many lives. He has improved the quality of life of millions, including your parents.

He has helped to produce so many middle class families, especially in the Malay community, including thousands of lawyers, doctors, engineers and other professionals.

He has made our lives so much easier that now, when things are a bit rough, we can only whine and complain.

The Malays held their heads higher during his time. He doesn't believe in Western expertise. He believes in us, the Malays, and our ability to head everything.

He has put the royals in their right place and maintained a good lifestyle for them because Malaysia could afford it during his time.

He delivered what he promised. The Opposition was nothing during his time. Now it seems the Malays are doing everything wrong.

Maybe Huzir is not aware of all this because, in his time, when he wanted to go to school, his mother dropped him off; when he wants take a drive, he can take the highway; when he wants to buy things, he goes to the hypermarket.

We, in our time, had to walk to school, take a rickety bus to town, buy groceries from an old Chinese shop in the kampung. In the evenings, we had to help our mothers in the padi field, tap rubber, jual kuih, etc.

We appreciated the good deeds of others instead of highlighting their faults.

Huzir, ask yourself what have you done for the people, for the country. How many people's lives have you personally touched?

Where were you when there was no water in our kampung, when the padi field did not yield a good harvest, when our children needed scholarships?

Have you ever been to a kampung, help the needy, tasted what it is like to work in the padi field or vegetable plot, or tap rubber?

Jangan nak berlagak pandai. Just look deeper in your roots, then you will see the greatness that he has done rather than being preoccupied with finding his faults".

Signed off as Taoyebah Abd Aziz
What can i say here? This is the typical part of the waste product that Mahathir has cultivated through his rule. People, especially the Malays have been tricked, brainwashed and deceived into believing his role in developing the Malay race.
It is true that Malays had benefited from his NEP and Malay supremacy propaganda's but all these handouts comes with a hefty price to pay and this is exactly what we are facing today. This author's mind is clearly one fine example of a mind being brainwashed to look and to gauge things from the surface. Is it so difficult to look deeper to see the reality of all his damaging actions? What happen to the basic moral values?
Just for some mere benefits, we get people like the author, who are more than willing to sell their souls to the devil. These people should be classify as endangered species and believe me, i wont even donate a cent to preserve them.

the laws of nature - an infallible justice...

The Isopanisad states that the Supreme Personality of Godhead is "perfect and complete." Part of the Lord's complete arrangement for this material world is his process of creation, maintenance, and destruction. Every living being in this material world has a fixed schedule of six changes: birth, growth, maintenance, the production of by-products, diminution, and destruction. This is the law of material nature. A flower is born as a bud. It grow, remains fresh for two or three days, produces a seed, gradually withers, and then is finished. You cannot stop this by your so-called material science. To try to do so is avidya, ignorance.
Sometimes people foolishly think that by advancement man will become immortal. This is nonsense. You cannot stop the material laws. Therefore in the Bhagavad-gita (7.14) Lord Krsna says that the material energy is duratyaya, impossible to overcome by material means.
Unfortunately, people do not know of these things, and therefore they are wasting their lives. This modern civilization is a soul-killing civilization; people are killing themselves because they do not know what real life is. They are simply living like animals. The animal does not know what life is, so he simply works under the laws of nature, undergoing gradual evolution. But when you get this human form of life, you have a responsibility to live in a different way. Here is a chance for you to become Krsna conscious and solve all problems. But if you don't-if you continue to act like animals-you will again have to enter the cycle of birth and death and transmigrate through 8,400,000 species of life. It will take many, many millions of years to come back to the human form of life. For example, the sunshine you are seeing now you will not see again until after twenty-four hours. Everything in nature moves in a cycle. So if you lose this opportunity of elevating yourself, then again you must enter the cycle of transmigration. Nature's law is very strong. Therefore we are opening so many centers so that people may take advantage of this International Society of Krishna Consciousness and elevate themselves.
It is important to take to Krsna consciousness immediately, because we do not know how much time is left before death. When your time in this body expires, no one can stop your death. The arrangement of material nature is so strong. You cannot say, "Let me remain." Actually, people sometimes request like that. When I was in Allahabad, an old friend who was very rich was dying. At the time he begged the doctor, "Can't you give me at least four more years to live? I have some plans which I could not finish." You see. This is foolishness. everyone thinks, "Oh, I have to do this. I have to do that." No. Neither the doctors nor the scientists can check death: "Oh, no, sir. Not four years, not even four minutes. You have to go immediately." This is the law. So before that moment comes, one should be very careful to become realized in Krsna consciousness. You should realize Krsna consciousness very quickly. Before your next death comes, you must finish your business. That is intelligence. Otherwise you will suffer defeat.
To realize the complete means to realize what our relationship with the complete is. And all forms of incompleteness are experienced only on accounts of incomplete knowledge of the complete. We are thinking, "I am equal to God. I am God." This is incomplete knowledge. But if you know, "I am part and parcel of God, and therefore I am equal to God in quality," that is complete knowledge. The human form of life is a chance to revive the complete manifestation of the consciousness of the living being. You can revive this complete consciousness by the process of Krsna consciousness. But if you don't take advantage of this complete facility, you are killing yourself, committing suicide. As it is said in the Isopanisad, "The killer of the soul, whoever he may be, must enter into the planets known as the worlds of the faithless, full of darkness and ignorance." So don't be the killer of your soul. Utilize the complete facility of your human life to become Krsna conscious. That is your only business.

there's a new trend in malaysia's politics...

There is a new trend catching up pretty fast in Malaysia's political arena. The first rush has just started and a craze may soon follow suit. Sedition is the in-trend now.

Police reports have been made against Karpal Singh claiming Karpal's comment on Sultan of Perak order on the reappointment of Datuk Jamry Sury, were seditious in nature and were an insult to the Ruler of the State. Yet they have forgotten the fact how their fellow members took the streets with the 'natang' banners in protest to the Sultan of Trengganu's choice of Menteri Besar.

Now what does all these tells us and how are they going to explain the double standards in handling the 2 similar matters? It seems to me that it is really up to them to decide whether to twist facts into issues and politicise it as seditious at their whims and fancies. Perhaps, it is the only way to shut us all up.

Now its my turn to get sick over their behaviours.. How these people get to be chosen to run our country in the first place is really beyond me... Only can blame ourselves.

market trend: parting with experience..

When i started this blog last month, some of my best pals suggested that i could use this platform to express my view on our local bourse and perhaps i can turn this blog of mine into a money spinning machine. Haha... I must thank them for the faith they have in me.

But rest assured, this is not my intention to spin money out of my blog nor am i trying to seek fame through my posts. This is the platform where i can pen down my opinion or thoughts. It is more like a log to register what i think of things and events that happen in front of me daily.

My master once told me this.. ' to survive the stock market, one have to look beyond the nose' which actually means one have to be able to look one step ahead. And this is no easy task with the ever changing economic climate where uncertainty looms especially so these days with the crude prices hitting record highs weekly and now the food commodities rising more than 200% in recent weeks. The wrath of inflation is beginning to rear its ugly head...

Before i start, please let me qualify myself that all comments and opinions expressed here and thereafter are purely opinions out of my own judgement and are expressed without malice. Therefore, i cant be held responsible for any liabilities that in any event, should arise from the publication of this post. The posting of my commentary shall be at my discretion. However, i do entertain request, comments from those who begs to differ and help from those wants to offer.

Our bourse CI hit a double top high of 1524 on 11th January and 15th January and went into a correction and consolidation cycle with a low of 1157 being set right after the 12th general election. From there, our CI have been inching up on a monthly basis with a high of 1305 being set on 29th April. Since then, it has corrected to a low of 1271 and have been range bound till today.

On the bigger picture, there is a head and shoulder formation. That means there is a risk factor involve here that our market may turn down and test lower with a critical support at 1238. To get out of this head and shoulder formation, our CI need to break higher to test the 1340 level. Instant indicator will be the breaking of 1296/97 level.

The chances of breaking out from uncertain trend is everybody guess. However, since we are at the tail-end of the consolidation cycle, i would say that our CI is going to test higher with a cap at 1340 or 1385 (preferably) depending on the momentum when it happen. Prevailing indicators remains positive despite the setbacks of our government policies and the world economic climates.

One more important factor is that our bourse is not moving in tandem with the international bourses. which means we are very much on our own now. Foreign funds are adopting a 'wait and see' attitude on Malaysia. As far as i can see, foreign funds had sold down to their base holding and they are nibbling back on stocks with viable businesses and good governance.

Despite all that i have painted here, i remain positive for short and medium term.
That's all till my next update.

bloggers not immune to law...

Who is trying to be above the law? We bloggers never try to be above the law nor did we ask for immunity in any form. What is more seditious than shouting racist remarks while wielding the keris high up in the air? What is more seditious than indiscriminately demolish temples of other faith till people have to take to the street to voice the rights?

And here we have a blogger being charged with sedition by merely posting an article from pieces of statements from the proceedings of the trial and call for the murderers to be send to HELL. For your information, that call was shared by more than 99.95% of the rakyat. All murderers should be send to HELL regardless of who the F**K they are!

I am truly disgusted with the attitude of this administration.

The difference between we bloggers and the administration boils down clearly to one important factor. We bloggers do things with conscience and our conscience is clear while they have none.

Puan Marina Lee Abdullah...

It was on a winter night way back in 1982, i witnessed something that etched permanently in my mind for life. I was drinking with a group of friends at the lounge of Westin Hotel in Toronto, Canada. The tranquility were suddenly disrupted by an announcement followed by an aged couple taking to the dance floor. Everyone remained silent as the couple began to dance when the band started to render the man's dedication to his partner.

I can't remember when you weren't there
When I didn't care for anyone but you
I swear we've been through everything there is
Can't imagine anything we've missed
Can't imagine anything the two of us can't do
Through the years, you've never let me down
You turned my life around, the sweetest days I've found
I've found with you ... Through the years
I've never been afraid, I've loved the life we've made
And I'm so glad I've stayed, right here with you
Through the years
I can't remember what I used to do
Who I trusted, who I listened to before
I swear you taught me everything I know
Can't imagine needing someone so
But through the years it seems to me
I need you more and more
Through the years, through all the good and bad
I KNOW how much we had, I've always been so glad
To be with you ... Through the years
It's better every day, you kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you
Through the years
Through the years, when everything went wrong
Together we were strong, I know that I belong
Right here with you ... Through the years
I never had a doubt, we'd always work things out
I've learned what life's about, by loving you
Through the years

Through the years, you've never let me down
You've turned my life around, the sweetest days I've found
I've found with you ... Through the years
It's better every day, you've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you
Through the years...

Through the years by Kenny Rogers included in my playlist

At the end of the song, the crowd roared into a standing ovation. Many with tears in their eyes clearly being moved by this meaningful event. Well, at least it was meaningful to the couple who were then celebrating their golden 50th wedding anniversary.

That night continues to move me till today and will forever stays with me for the rest of my life. But this is not my reason why i am sharing this story...

My main reason may well point to this couple... Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK) and Puan Marina Lee Abdullah. Much as i respect Raja Petra for his fearless battle against all odds in the name of humanity for the rakyat and the country, i hold my utmost respect to the woman who stood by him.. the woman who continues to sacrifice so much just to support her husband's journey selflessly.

I paused and took a moment of my time to put myself in her shoe when her photograph appeared in MalaysiaKini yesterday. I see the strength in her for continuing to go through what she have been through over the years of living through a world of uncertainties and worries as her man battled on. That lives out the whole true meaning of "through good and through bad, till death do us part".

Puan Marina Lee Abdullah, please consider this as my tribute to the GREAT lady in you and to the GREAT couple in you and RPK. May God Bless You Both.
After 26 years i finally get this befitting moment to share my story.. This song is for both of you.
Thank you and thank you again...
