Our Heartfelt Condolence To The Family Of Dato Patrick Wong...

We lost another great man today.
Dato Patrick Wong's life was taken away senselessly when his house was broken into early this morning.
We were blessed with the opportunity to have this friendly, humble and kind man to grace many of our occasions. Dato Patrick Wong was a strong supporter of our cause for he shared the same belief that this country can be a better place for all Malaysians regardless of race with good governance.
Unfortunately, he became a victim of a flawed system.
Our deepest heartfelt condolence to the family.
Rest In Peace
The wake will be held at:
9, Lorong Kemaris 1
Bukit Bandaraya
59100 Kuala Lumpur

Got the SMS from Haris but I had no idea who he was talking about. Don't think I ever met Patrick. But from his photos he looks like a real decent bloke, so I will befriend him posthumously and bless his posterity.

The key word here is "senselessly". You hit the nail right on the head with it.

Really sad to hear the news, Yang!

Words cannot describe the utter sorrow we all share in this totally senseless tragedy. Patrick did not deserve to leave like this; he still had so much to live for and enjoy. We reflect on this and realise that life is indeed short and we should live life to the fullest everyday as if there is no tomorrow. Our heartfelt condolences to Cindy, Nicholas and Vicky ........ from Maria
