Youth Taking Charge With A Weekend Full Of Events...

The scenario of this country is getting worse.
The people that walks the corridor of power have been stirring up issues along the religious and racial lines well hidden behind the 1Malaysia propaganda.
49 years after the 1969 racial riots, they are still stuck in the past. The power continues to play the politic of fear with Ibrahim Ali brandishing a keris and making threats openly during the launching of Perkasa over last weekend. He must have been ignorant of the fact that the last person who did that contributed to the loss of two-third majority and 5 states. And what's worse is that he was made to apologise publicly.
That is history now.
People these days are well-learned and are more aware of the fact that we have a highly corrupted government but remained clueless on the part they can play to help rid of the disease that plagues this country and her people.
Are we going to be cowed by their actions? Lets not forgrt that we are the people, we are the majority and it is Us who decide on who shall run this country.
Get rid of the mindset of 'what can my one vote do?'. Every vote counts.. There are 5 millions unregistered voters out there. Can you imagine the impact if we can unite them into one voice? That one deafening voice saying 'No To Corruption'. That one voice that is going to dictate the future of this country..
This is what we can do...
Take a look at the people around you. Get those eligible voter to register themselves at the nearest post office. Simple procedure which takes less than 5 minutes.
Certain groups are making selfless effort to register new voters at several locations this weekend.

The Voice For Choice initiative launches on the 3rd & 4th of April, 2010 at the following three venues :
Subang Parade
Amcorp Mall
Cineleisure, Kota Damansara.

Voter registration booths will be open at all three venues abovementioned on both dates, from 10 am – 10 pm.
Or perhaps make an effort to support this group of youth of their initiative.. This is what they have to say...
