The recent price hike by doing away with fuel subsidies is seen as a political maneouvre by this present Umno-led government to flex their muscles over the Oppositions and rakyat. But what is the primary intention behind this move?

With all those calls for our Prime Minister to step down from within and outside his party, Pak Lah knew that his power is fast diminishing, so is Khairy's dream of becoming the next Prime Minister. Something had to be done quickly. So came this idea of removing the fuel subsidies.

A drastic fuel hike would put more money into their dirty hands and bring about protests and demonstration from all walks of lives across the country. Any demonstration that may turn violent would give them a chance to enforce their draconian laws with an option to declare an emergency rule to stay in power. This is exactly what they are trying to induce to safeguard their position. That alone is enough to stop all the threats of power struggle from within and beyond.

However, if there is no untoward situation over the price hike, they will just ignore the pleas of the suffering rakyat and start to dip their dirty hands into the country's coffer and natural resources. At the end of the day, it is all about staying in power with the intention of enriching themselves.

So where does THIS all lead us? What options do we have? The PRICE of a solution can be devastating.

Let's wait and see what Anwar and Mahathir can do...

See, we are still cheap as compared to others.. and we Malaysians must be retarded to the eyes of these hypocrites. A savings of 13.7 billion Malaysians dollars to be managed by those corrupted idiots. Might as well consider it burnt. I have doubt whether my cheque of 625 will ever reach me.

No corruption? Hello.. Talk to my d**khead lah! How do you explain the 6.9M spent on each NS trainee so far and all they get is a few sets of uniform plus a few months of so-called training. On top of that, you cant even guarantee their well being. Want more? Just go around the blogosphere and you will find more exposure by our Math geniuses applying simple arithmetic on their version of so-called justifications over their policies.

What's next when the 13.7B disappear within a month or two? Another hike? Since the 12th GE, there have been no positive sign from this corrupted administration except for all their abuses of power and those negative actions pointing to further destruction of the country for their selfish need for money. There is totally no concern shown to the welfare of the rakyat.

Those bastards knew it yet they chose to ignore it. Yeah true.. so what if all these are true? 'What can you do' seems to be the message to all of us.. the rakyat!!

market trend: where do we go from here?..

Huyoh! Composite Index down 34 points as of now, a reaction to the drastic fuel hike following an earlier downgrade by Goldman Sachs on our market based on the reason of political instability. All these events add in activities to our otherwise listless market.

So what have we learn from last Friday's sudden surge in volume? A sudden surge in the form of a big wave crashing into the shore without the initial retreat. That was also why i advise all of you to pay more attention to further signs. And on Monday, our market volume fizzled off by more than 50% from Friday's volume. That was a very bad sign indeed, so to speaks.

Never mind all that. It had already happened and there is nothing you can do about it now. What you need to do is to learn your lesson. And this is also the main reason of the existence of this very 'market trend' column. Again i would like to stress here that it is not my intention to prove myself nor am i expecting to be rewarded in any way. My primary reason is to part with some of my experiences to those who have the initiative to learn a bit more.

The reality about this share market is that it is more or less a 'dog eat dog' world out there. People tend to be selfish when it comes to sharing knowledge. They will envy when you make money and when you made a bad decision, they will be the first one to run you down happily. My peers told me 'everybody have to get burnt to learn' when one is involve in this industry. Perhaps, i wasn't that lucky. I indeed got burnt and i learnt. A bitter lesson which i am sure many of you shared with me.

However, i beg to differ from their so-called myth. Nobody need to get burnt to learn. Be humble and learn from those who was burnt. But it is sad you cant find many of these species around to share due to the fact that majority of them still don't know what hit them last time while those who have learned chose to be selfish with their knowledge. They believed that if everyone become knowledgeable, there will be no fools. And with less fools, their making money opportunity will be affected. I know they are right in certain sense but at the end of the day, discipline matters too. Market will never runs out of fools as there will be new fools born everyday on top of those habitual repeated fools like me... but anyone of you can be better than me just by employing better discipline. Trust yourself and trust what you have learned.

So back to business now. Where do we go from here? Forget about those price hike and those downgrading by Goldman Sachs. Lets see it from market cycle point of view. Like i have said earlier, we are going towards the end of the cycle and the ending of each cycle will bring about an opposite cycle. And with all those negative news coincide with this end cycle at the right time will tells us that this cycle will be completed in a matter of days. This is the sudden pull back that i talked about in my last posting. It is like a sea retreating now getting ready for the formation of a new cycle.

What do we look for now? Well i would look for the sign of margin force selling as a sign of major shake down before the run up. My first level of critical support have been broken so the CI will definitely hit 1216 and below. My next critical support is tagged at 1200-1201 level. Any breach of this level between now and next week would consider a good buy for a technical. Please remain cautious as a breach of this level would spells disaster. My advice is to commit yourself when the market start to turn. It is okay to buy a bit higher knowing that the market have hit a bottom or a temporary bottom. And do expect some volatility and some quick rotational play.

the wrath of man-made inflation...

Brace yourself for a drastic increase of 50% in fuel price!! Petrol price to be raise close to RM3.00 per litre, diesel at RM2.60 per litre and cooking gas at RM40.00 per 12 kilo tank by year end.

The wrath of inflation rears its ugly head and our government chose to do away with subsidies so that they can have more money to corrupt through the pretense of development where all their share of monies had already been factored into the cost of development.

Perhaps, the government should explain to the rakyat on the necessities of having these developments at this juncture and what are the benefits all these developments are going to bring to the country and the rakyat. As it is only appropriate for a government to invest into something that should be viable in term of profits and benefits to the country. Why would someone spent billions on infrastructure in Putrajaya and at the end of the day, it is not even generating enough revenue to finance the cost of borrowings. Worse still, more than half of the project cost have been channeled away through corruption as it was premeditated right from the beginning.

This was exactly what have been practised by Umno led government since the early 70s only to be made worse by Mahathir and Daim where they practically transferred the country's wealth to themselves through their cronies. We only have to look at those billionaires and multi-millionaires he created during his rule. If he can create so many super rich in others, what more can we say about he, himself and his family? Isn't it ironic to make all others rich and to keep none for yourself? How would his children accept his stupidity? Well, they didn't complain at all.

The present Umno led government continue with this method of enriching themselves with those launching of the multi billions overvalued corridors under the 9MP without bothering its viability and the financial capabilities of our country. Hence, these projects must go on in order for these money to reach their pockets.

And where do they find all those finances to lay down the infrastructure? Petronas's multi billion profit.. Yet they want to do away with fuel subsidies despite the fact we are still a net exporter of crude oil and gas. It doesn't take a Math genius to figure out the amount of money involved here.

This is what i called a man-made inflation. Man-made from the fact that projects have been marked up to the roof for their corrupt practice and make the rakyat pay for it by removing subsidies on top of all the taxes being imposed in the form of income taxes, sale and service taxes etc. etc. Not to mention all those tolls that have been imposed on us forcibly.

What's sickening is that these bastards try to mislead the rakyat by comparing our fuel price to that of our neighbors. Only fools like them would compare an apple to an orange. Why not compare us to Brunei or other net oil exporting countries?

In short, corruption is the main contributor to our country's inflation. Not to mention other destruction that come with it. Perhaps, i can categorize corruption into 2 categories. A managed corruption is whereby a government ventures itself into a viable project. A viable project that generates profit and out of every dollar made, 50 cents goes into their pocket in the form of corruption and the rest goes back to the country. I guess this form of corruption can be accepted as it is seen as a 'win-win' situation.

The next one will be a destructive corruption whereby a government ventures itself into a project with sole intention to corrupt right from the beginning regardless of its viability. The question of viabilty ceased to exists when the cost of project is been blown out of proportion to cover their corruptive purposes. This is what Umno led government have been doing for decades. MSC and Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, Twin Tower, KL Tower are fine examples and the list just goes on and on. At the end of the day, most of these projects turned out to be white elephants and further costs were injected just to maintain it. These further maintenance costs will be subjected to their corruptive practice again.

What Anwar offered during the 12th GE is not impossible. It's only a matter of sacrificing their greedy needs for the betterment of the country. Sad to see that this is not to be. Perhaps it is time for us all to rise again and push forward towards total reform before it's too late.

“Umno's interests come first, says Najib,” reported the New Straits Times today. The New Straits Times then went on to report Najib as saying, “We should always consider the party's interests above all else.”

Another New Straits Times report about the Pakatan Rakyat government offering Umno State Assemblymen positions in the Penang State Government, which of course they turned down, goes as follows:

The Pakatan Rakyat state government has again offered posts in several state committees to five Umno assemblymen. The assemblymen, who had turned down similar offers before, received offer letters from the state government last week.

They are Sungai Acheh assemblyman Datuk Mahmud Zakaria, Datuk Ariff Shah Omar Shah (Seberang Jaya), Muhammad Farid Saad (Pulau Betong), Datuk Azhar Ibrahim (Penaga) and Shabudin Yahaya (Permatang Berangan).

Azhar, the state opposition chief, said he received a letter offering him a place in the state Price Control Committee. The state Umno secretary said he was also asked to attend the committee's inaugural meeting."I will not accept their offer no matter what. It is against my principles. The truth is they are not sincere. All this is politically motivated."Azhar said he had expected other Umno assemblymen to receive similar offers. "They can make us the offer as many times as they want but we will not accept them. We will continue to remain loyal to the party," he said.

And this is what Bernama reported today:The Malaysian Muslim Youth Movement (Abim) has called on the government to clarify the necessity for the Public Service Department (PSD) to increase the ratio of scholarships for non-Bumiputeras from 10 percent to 45 percent.

Abim secretary-general, Khairul Arifin Mohd Munir, said in view that the education quota issue was closely related to provisions in the federal constitution like Articles 153(2) and 153(3) it was therefore necessary that Malaysians be given an explanation for the move.

Sura Al-Fatiha is the first chapter of the Muslim holy book, the Qur'an. Its seven verses are a prayer for God's guidance and stress the lordship and mercy of God. This chapter has a special role in the Muslims' daily prayers (Salat), being recited at the start of each unit of prayer, or rak'ah.

Verse five of this sura says: You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.There is also a verse that goes as follows: innasalati, wanusuki, wamahyaya, wamamati, Lillahi Rabbil Alamin. This means all my actions and deeds (salat or prayers included), my life and my death, are only for the God of the entire world.

Najib, however, says that Umno’s interest should be above all other interests. So Najib is not a true Muslim. And the Umno State Assemblymen say they only serve the party. So these Umno State Assemblymen are also not true Muslims.

Meanwhile, the Islamic youth movement, ABIM, is upset that the government is not upholding racial discrimination. So the ABIM people too are not true Muslims.

Yes, that’s right; don’t get too impressed and awed by any Arab look-alike, Bin Ladin wannabe. They may dress like Muslims from the Arabian desert. They may talk like Muslims. They may sujud (prostrate) on the ground with their backsides pointing to the sky five times a day. They may go to Mekah twice a year whereas others go only once in their entire life. Their wives and daughters may be ‘properly’ covered with a tudung or headscarf. They may even let loose from their lips a few Arabic words from time to time. But they are not true Muslims. They are munafik and fasik Muslims.

True Muslims practice amar maaruf, nahi munkar. True Muslims treat fardu ‘ain as one aspect of Islam and fardu kifayah as an even more important aspect. This means you uphold good and oppose evil. This also means you serve your community in the name of God while sacrificing your own interest (plus, in particular, party interests) for the good of the community. This means you uphold the teachings of Prophet Muhammad by opposing racism and the Umnoputera ‘caste system’ that exists in Malaysia.

But Umno and ABIM do the opposite to all this. They serve the party and uphold racism. They don’t care about the community. Party interests come first even if the community suffers. They oppose and violate everything that Islam stands for. They are munafik and fasik. Remember these two words: munafik and fasik. That is what Umno and ABIM are. Yet the pretend they are true Muslims. Bullshit! This is bullshit Islam practiced by bullshit Muslims. What they uphold and practice is everything that Islam opposes.

Uphold good and oppose evil: says Islam. Do not discriminate: says Islam. Race does not count: says Islam. Serve only God and your community: says Islam. But Umno and ABIM do the opposite of this. Umno and ABIM violate what Islam stipulates. Umno and ABIM are enemies of the community. Umno and ABIM are enemies of Islam. Umno and ABIM serve the party and their own race. Umno and ABIM are not true Muslims. Umno and ABIM are bullshit Muslims. Umno and ABIM are practicing bullshit Islam. True Islam practiced by true Muslims prohibits the serving of any other than the community and God. True Islam practiced by true Muslims prohibits racism and discrimination.

How ironical. The kafir (infidel) Chinese from Barisan Nasional are prepared to work with Pakatan Rakyat for the good of the people. These kafirs that Muslims say are all going to go to hell think of the people. On the other hand, the Muslims from Barisan Nasional sabotage Pakatan Rakyat even if the people have to suffer. These Muslims that Muslims say will be guaranteed heaven do not care about the people. These words in paradox reflects the actual action of our society in coherent with their thinking. Spasm, because it is temporary, like a gossip only happens for the moment then it evaparates although most times the gossip is true.

Gossip here, there, everywhere. Today you hear it in the "Kedai Mamak", it dies off, then you hear it from the pathfinders, it dies off, then you actually face it, it does not die off, you find a way to solve it –ie your action to solve your immediate problem at least for yourself. You are able to do it, but what about the society and what are their choices in a dismantled system?

We can't be summer soldiers and sunshine patriots forever if we were to reach orgasm for our society.

Orgasm is ecstasy; there more you have it, the more you want it. Orgasm for our society is honestly, truth, justice and fairness. It is an everlasting process and struggle that we need to act collectively for the society that we live it on long term basis and not intermittently to create a truly Malaysian society.

If we continue to fall prey to individual needs, to allow the make shift administration dictate with the fear of system and punishment, then we are definitely in a spasm state. Our mass resignation in believing in the dogma of democracy on a superficial public level defeats one's believe in private but we continue to practice it trying very hard to achieve the orgasm.

Today, the latest edition of "Drama Minggu Ini", we have Petra Branca, Dr. M with his tit for tat with Param on who is the racist, whether Anwar can muster enough support to overturn the government, whether the PM will be toppled, VVIP wives spending spree, some moronic nonsense on OSA for highway concession seems to be at helm. Do these elected representatives even know what the actual purpose of an OSA is and why it was created but rather continue to underestimate and undermine our knowledge and intelligence on the pretext of public interest and national security?

Everything and anything is charaded either for personal gain, to maintain control or to serve as an eye wash for the action free society. What good are all these if we, the People can see through these melodrama but unable to act in unison to make a change? Look at March 8, 2008, the change almost happened but what good is almost when it is nothing.Same shit, different day.

At least the Cheras residents were ready to act to show the supremacy of People Power although blood sacrificies were made. We are all vunerable for the risk we take, but the risk is worth the take if it can create the peace and prosperity amongst us and for the future generation of Malaysian by acting in unison.

Today, the man made law and order in Malaysia only serves the elected representative for their orgasm. What is the use of the law and order if it does not serve us, the society!!. Whose fault is it? It is us, as we continue to ponder and not act in unison.

We need many more Malaysian to come forward and act proactivelty, if we the society seek the orgasm. It wil then show that we, the People rule, not some melodrama, illogical and obsolete thinking to serve those whom we elected to serve us. Law and order is man made but natural law is what is good for the society we live in for the society - ie natural law that cuts across race, religion, , creed and individual believing as long the society benefits and all are treated equally to create a peaceful and harmonious society.

Our private believes is as powerful and potent provided only if we are willing to act collectivelty to achieve the orgasm rather than a moral justisfication for selfishness.

Don't let me haunt you with your own spasm but rather what we can do to enhance a Malaysian society for an orgasm. Your weapon is your action not just thinking about it. We need action to show that we, the People rule, condition ourselves to act and decide how Malaysia should be as oppose to being dictated for fear of oppression and persecution. Sow a thought of orgasm for the society as oppose to individual spasm, it will then translate an act that reap a habit and the habit transmits into your character and that transpires into the destiny for the well being of a Malaysian society for us and the future generations.

Need an example? see how, it started with Bersih, and thereon people started rallying for their plight for betterment of governance of the society in different aspects of the society. That is an act.

Today, in Malaysia, articles, bloggers, the so called ultra vires groups have preached the injustice and the truthness in their message but what happens, it is just a spasm for the moment. It does not surprise me nor it should you?, that most people abhor such things as they would not be disturbed in our comfortable lives and rather wait for the White Knight in some form rushing in a shining armor and rescue us from our spasm for an orgasm. Don't ask me, ask yourself?

Nonetheless, I would say that the White Knight needs us to act. The White Knights are there and they continue to show us the path, but we still fall short to act by our collective action. No magic wand or miraculous act will prevail, until we, the society collectively act to stop all this nonsense. Period!!!!

We, as the society need to act and reconstruct ourselves to unleash our minds from our own complacency, nonchalant attitude for the spasm we seek individually as oppose to the orgasm for the society. The pathfinders with their sacrificies have done their job consciously and conspicuously in their quest and will continue to do so, but until and when we actually individually can act in a collective manner, it is just another spasm.

The hegemony of a single coalition for over 50 years had constricted the democracy participation and created diversion between the society and fundamental individual rights. To homogenize, we need to see beyond color, creed, religion, race and following. We in Malaysia have been through the process throughout our lives but we continue to allow ruling administration to dictate our thoughts based on this. Why? The simple answer is it is easier to divide and rule and it serves their orgasm. It is not them or the system but we, the society continue to live with the feeling of helplessness and powerlessness for our own spasm or what is being disseminated to enables them dictate at their pleasure without our unification.

We need to unify in our act, as thoughts alone will not suffice. Unification does not mean homogenization. There can still remain all the variety of religions, cultures and races, and even greater variety may develop, but homogenization here is about being just and fair to the society that we live it and only then we can achieve orgasm.

Frankly, nobody is to be blamed for a purported reconstructed society after the colonization unless and until, we individually seek a change for the need of the society that we intend to create and partake in it actively by our act in unification.

Restoration of a society is another aspect that begs the question for us Malaysian. The society had been dissected for the glory of the few, look back and see why this has happened. It was and had been a great society, and today look at the state of affairs!!!. Don't allow our individual spasm dictate what a real Malaysian society is all about and despair easily in our struggle. Malaysia is, and will be a great society again and let's work hand in hand in restoring it with our act in unison.

Entitlement of the ruling administration is an authority cloth and dressed by the society. This entitlement is insignificant if the, the People choose otherwise. This entitlement and authority can only be questioned and challenged if we seek the orgasm and the not the spasm. People are the ruler so let's act upon it to restore our society.

People Power will only prevail if there is action from the People. Yes–it is not risk free but worth the cause if orgasm is what we seek for our society irrespective of color, creed, religion, race and following. See it as a Malaysian agenda and nothing else.

Do you feel in your heart and soul that everything thing is being a Malaysian, my people irrespective of the race, religion, creed and following. Honesty, truthness and justice in ourselves and conduct of the ruling administration is only possible if it first resides in our heart and soul to act to uphold what is just and fair for our society.

When you discover another it is wisdom, but when you discover yourself it is enlightenment beyond your imagination because there is the element of honesty, truth and justice. I think we are ready for it now to act for the society.

The society needs the faith in each one of us as we embark to seek to create a Malaysian society, and by your individual uninhibited act for truthness, fairness and justice, and faith, the destiny of a just and fair Malaysia is confirmed.

Let's mature and define it as a Malaysian cause and move to the next stage by activitely participating in whichever productive way we can for our Malaysian society.

Are we racist? Yes, we all should be a Malaysian racist across the board irrespective of religion, race, creed or following. It is our country, our people who are suffering due to these demented authorities, and that is all that matters!!!. Why do we allow these clowns to toy with us? You see, racistism is a man made definition, but it comes in many forms and it all eventually transforms into humanity. The question that begs an anwer is how do you see it for youself, a spasm or an orgasm for a Malaysia for Malaysian?

Our perpetual indulgence on what has been, or what it will become, or what we think of is futile unless we act upon it. We need your personal action for the orgasm, not a spasm, for the change to happen in Malaysia.

market trend: telltale sign of some thing's cooking out there in the ocean?

Only Thursday i was there bullshitting about cycles of share market and signs identification and there it happened on Friday.. the very first sign of stirring action pointing to something must be happening out there in the centre of the ocean.

What we had on Friday was a sudden surge in volume. Our market volume increased from 457M shares to 818M shares traded. An increase substantial enough for one to consider paying more attention to the market by looking for further signs to substantiate this sudden change in volume pattern. After all, things do happen for a reason.

What can we expect? As i have mentioned earlier that we are at the conclusion stage of a full cycle, it is normal to have choppy waves reaction near the shore. So do expect some volatility for the next few days be it index wise or stock wise.

What we need to look for? Market volume has always been a useful indicator to gauge the market interests and sentiments. What would be appropriate will be a volatility in volume in the region of 500M to 800M shares traded. Likewise for index to maintain a choppy range with a critical support line tagged at 1238.

From my experience, i would favor a sudden pull back in index at the end of the cycle as the start of a new cycle will always reacts oppositely to the reactions of the end cycle. Be it a last shake out before a good run or a trap before a plunge.

Meanwhile, look closely now.
