Bukit Gantang: Stop Using Sultan Perak In Election Campaign!!!

Enough Is Enough!!!
First, they get the Sultan Perak involved in their infamous but unlawful takeover of Perak State government. Even the man that they have had worshipped for more than two decades said it was unlawful. One of their respected member, Tengku Razaleigh, had spoken out openly against the coup d'etat. And the Sultan have been keeping his silence since.
But Umno have been aggressively spinning on this episode in the name of the sultan calling for action to be taken against 'treasonist. What treasonist? Who are they to label people as treasonist? If we looked back into history, we can really see who have been treasonous all these while. Yes, it was they themselves all these while. They create the problem, move all their lap dogs (Pewaris, Pekida and many more) to propagate the same to their advantage and then send in their enforcer (judiciary and police force) to justify their actions.
But they have forgotten two things: One is that HRH Sultan Perak have been keeping his silence. Probably, HRH Sultan Perak couldnt agree with what they are doing and couldnt see any evidence of treasonous act.
Secondly, it would be the people awareness which Umno had underestimated. The people are now more aware and mature unlike those brainless Umno goons who are easily gullible to spinning. The people is now more knowledgeable and they can analyse situation with their own mind. In other words, the people can now see and decide for themselves rather than blindly trusting those crooks. Yes, they have learned their bitter lessons for decades and they are now wide awake.
It is obvious that the Perak fiasco have brought about dissatisfaction among majority of Perakians and Malaysians alike. And this coming by-elections would be a chance for the people to voice their concern through their electoral vote.
I make this solemn plea to those working outstation to find some of their precious time and make their way back to make a statement with their vote telling Umno that Enough Is Enough!! Do it for A Better Malaysia. We had given them enough time and they betrayed us. They are The People traitors. They are the traitor of this land.
Stop the smearing of HRH Sultan Perak's reputation in election campaign by spinning away from the real issue. The issue here is Najib and his 4 frogs, not The Sultan.
A Wise Vote Is A Vote For Change!
A Vote For PR Is A Vote Against Najib's Leadership!

Overwhelming Support For MB Nizar During Bukit Gantang Nomination Day...

BR Bloggers Raring To Start The Day

The Barisan Rakyat Bloggers started off early this morning. From my window I can see people started trickling in as early as 7:00am. As we walked towards the nomination centre, it appeared to me that PR component parties had started to gather all over Taiping and two streets away parallel from where we are staying, waves and waves of PAS supporters have started their march towards the nomination centre.

It was a sight to behold as we melted ourselves into the crowd. Once again, the euphoria hit me throughout the walk. Fantastic day for PR!

I ll just let the pictures tell the story as I am sure our MSM would have a field day spinning on the crowd turnout.

BN Crowd
The Frontline
Shooting backwards

And It Ends Some 8 metres Away

PR Crowd

I would put the crowd turnout to be at a minimum of 35,000 for PR and a maximum of 2,500 for BN. If we were to judge by the supporters turnout, MB Nizar should win this by-election hands down. We won KT, didn't we? And this one is much Bigger for sure. Bukit Gantang is already in the bag.

Bukit Gantang: How Low More Can Umno Stoop!!

This Was what Umno did in Trong one fine day. They tried sabotaging PAS stronghold by littering it with their state of art treasonous flyers.

Hindraf Brothers And Sisters: Please Do It Right In Bukit Selambau...

The Bukit Selambau battle has indeed turned messy with the possibility of more people jumping into bandwagon as independent candidate.
As the Indian voters made up of close to 30% of this state constituency, their votes can be consider crucial in determining the outcome of this coming by-election. But what good is this when their votes are going to be split with the inclusion of these independent candidates? That's what MIC want and what BN hope for.
And when this happens, the Chinese and the Malay votes would eventually turn out to be more crucial in determining the outcome of this by-election. Thus making the Indian votes more or less insignificant.
Dear Hindraf brothers and sisters, do you all want this to happen? True that Anwar refused to listen to Hindraf and field his choice of candidate. For that, we will deal with him later on. But right now, our common enemy is BN and our Fight shall be with BN.
Before all of you make a hasty decision, please reassess your strength base on the assumption that all Indian voters vote in favor of Hindraf candidate. What is the chance of Hindraf winning this by-election? Please bear in mind that this contest is not a one-to-one fight.
Don't get me wrong here. I fully support the Hindraf cause and I totally recognize Hindraf Movement's contribution towards the Wind of Change that is still blowing strongly throughout the country. A big statement was made then.
But this is not about making a statement again. This is about dealing with a common enemy. Maybe Anwar has become a new enemy for not entertaining to Hindraf's request. If Hindraf wants to deal with Anwar, then by all means, throw your support behind MIC and make sure PR loses this by-election. Fielding your own candidate would be meaningless in this case. Take your pick. Who is your worst enemy?
Just Do It Right! I say we deal with BN first.
Makkal Sakthi!

Najib's Reform Plans For Umno In Jeopardy?

The message is clear! Khairy won the Umno Youth contest while Shahrizat unanimously dethroned AP queen to helm the Umno Wanita post. And later today, we shall see the new formation of the supreme council. Forget about the president and deputy presidency contest as it is deemed irrelevant as far as I am concern.
What good is the president and the deputy president seat when one cannot command the support of the Youth wing, Wanita wing and soon to be formed supreme council? Whatever it is, do expect some surprises! More so now especially after yesterday's show of strength by Khairy.
Syabas, Khairy!
Once again, you silenced your nemesis, The Kutty. And it is time to give Najib a taste of his own medicine for what he did to Pak Lah.
Is Najib's day numbered? Checkmate!

Umno's Admission Of Their Inferiority In Blogosphere?

Finally, they openly admit that they remained inferior in the domestic blogosphere despite all their effort in spending money to come out with their very own blogs and cybertroopers to counter us.. What went wrong? Perhaps, the money did not find its way to the ground force or they just hired a bunch of one-tracked-brain nerds out from colleges with only knowledge that the system had instilled into them. Not true? Then why need to call for this? Read on...
SEVERAL speakers at the Umno Youth general assembly today are expected to call for tighter rules to govern the activities of bloggers, particularly socio-political bloggers in the country.
The issue, according to a spokesman, would be raised when debating the resolution on religion and education.
The consensus among Umno Youth delegates, he said, was that too much freedom was given to these bloggers to the point of it being detrimental to the religious and racial harmony in the country.
“The people are becoming more divided, all because of the hurtful statements posted through the many political blogs,” he said.
Besides blogs, he said, many delegates are also expected to touch on the Bar Council, which in the minds of many, had allowed itself to become a vehicle championing the causes of opposition parties and the foreign agenda.
The movement, he said, felt that the Bar Council had overstepped its role when it began to question matters relating to Islam and the promotion of Islam in the country.
“There seems to be a concerted effort on the part of the Bar Council to raise issues relating to Islam, including lately the decision to ban the use of the word Allah by Christian publications,” he added.
Youth delegates, he said, would also be expected to touch extensively on Malay rights and royalty, two issues which have been in the news following the Perak crisis.
Other issues that would be raised, he said, included the teaching of Science and Mathematics in English (PPSMI) and the controversial keris debacle.
In Umno Youth, he said, PPSMI was not really an issue although quite a few were expected to voice their reservations.
“In general, we understand the need for PPSMI and have full trust in Education Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein to tackle the issue with wisdom,” he added. (extracted from The Star)
Did I not say earlier that they would capitalize on the monarchy issue to justify their actions?

Malaysia's Constitutional Crisis: Remembering History The Way It Is...

If Najib wants to talk about history then let me take Najib down memory lane and teach him a bit about Malaysian history. The Constitutional Crisis of the 1980s -- there were two, actually -- was a Battle Royal between Umno and the Rulers. Prior to that, Malaysia was in a unique situation of having four branches of government -- the Executive (the Prime Minister), the Legislature (Parliament), the Judiciary, and the Monarchy. Each of the four was independent of one another but worked in tandem.
This means Malaysia has four parallel power bases. And this makes Malaysia unique because most countries have three. Malaysia, however, has four, the fourth being the Monarchy.
Not long after Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad became Prime Minister, Umno decided it would eliminate the four branches of government and replace it with only one -- the Executive. This means Malaysia will retain the trappings of a democracy but in actual fact would become a dictatorship.
First to go was Parliament. That is why Barisan Nasional is so paranoid about losing its two-thirds majority in Parliament. Without the two-thirds majority, Barisan Nasional can’t control Parliament. With the two-thirds majority in Parliament they can scream and shout at the opposition and tell the Chinese and Indians to go back to China and India.
Next to suffer was the Judiciary. When the judges demonstrated independence, they were sacked or placed in cold storage or demoted (by transferring them to the Makhamah Dagang at Wisma Denmark where they spend the rest of their career listening to unpaid credit card cases). We saw that happen also in the 1980s.
That left only one institution that needed to be clipped. And that institution was the Monarchy. So the Constitutional Crisis was triggered in the 1980s, twice, and the last independent branch of government hit the dirt.
With Parliament, the Judiciary and the Monarchy neutralised, the Executive became the absolute power in Malaysia. No longer did Malaysia have four branches of government. It was left with only one. And this gave the Executive, the Prime Minister of course, the powers of a dictator.
That was what the Constitutional Crisis was all about and Najib knows this pretty well. Umno wanted to not only neutralise the Rulers but Parliament and the Judiciary as well. And it did, back in the 1980s.
So what crap is Najib talking about? Umno was treasonous. Going by the ‘old laws’, heads would have rolled. Umno and its leaders declared war on the Rulers. When it lost the first time around in the early 1980s, Umno retreated, and after a new strategy was implemented, came back for a second round in the late 1980s and finished what it started a few years earlier.
And this new strategy that Umno adopted was to disgrace and smear the Rulers to the point that the rakyat rose up in anger and demanded that the Monarchy be abolished and Malaysia get turned into a republic. That was how successful Umno’s campaign of hate was. They succeeded in getting the rakyat disgusted enough to want to sack the Rulers and declare the Prime Minister Malaysia’s first President.
Let’s call a spade a spade, as Tun Ghazali Shafie was fond of saying. Umno declared war on the Rulers. And they brought the Rulers down through a smear campaign and by using the mainstream media to spin lies. No doubt, some of what they published was true. But much of what they spun was downright lies.
For example, they showed photographs of the Sultan of Selangor’s so-called lavish palace on a hill in Penang that was actually the home of a Chinese towkay. They showed photographs of the Sultan of Kedah’s so-called lavish mansion by the sea in Northam Road overlooking the sea in Penang that was actually Rumah Kedah -- which was for the use of any Kedah civil servant who visited Penang. They accused the Sultan of Kelantan of evading tax on the car he imported whereas the Sultan did not evade tax since he was exempted from tax anyway, according to the Kelantan State Constitution. And so on and so forth.
And there was much more lies that Umno spun -- which the rakyat believed to be true and which resulted in the rakyat becoming disgusted with the Rulers to the point they wanted the Monarchy abolished and Malaysia transformed into a republic. The Monarchy never recovered from this 1980s attack that it suffered. Until today, the Rulers still remember how dangerous it is to cross Umno. And if Umno says it wants the opposition government sacked and the Pakatan Rakyat Menteri Besar replaced with a Barisan Nasional Menteri Besar the Rulers would never dare say no.

Aiyoyo Samy, What Talking You? Makkal Sakthi Is Going To Rule In Bukit Selambau.

Samy claims that MIC is confident of drawing the support of the Indian Malaysian voters in Bukit Selambau, Kedah following several 'open discussions' between the party leaders and the community. Read the rest of his silly spins here...
Good try, Samy for trying to pull a fast one. Before I start to chastise you, allow me to briefly pen down some history that brought about this by-election.

PKR state rep V Arumugam had to resign as the state exco member and state assemblyperson to safeguard his family from harm.

After attempted bribery failed, they threatened and kidnapped him to coerce him to cross over.

Although he identified the perpetrator, the police released the perpetrator allowing him to make further threats. State legislators Lim Soo Nee and Tan Wei Xu received bullets when they rejected offers of several million ringgit to cross over. Although a video had been taken by the then BPR officer of the negotiations and offer, the only action taken by the MACC was to transfer the officer.

I really wonder how MIC is going to wrestle back Bukit Selambau seat after the Hindraf march and the March 8th tsunami which saw the demise of Gerakan, MCA, MIC, five states and BN's two third majority rule at federal level.

Wake up, Samy and look at the track record after the tsunami. We already have 2 by-elections under our belt. And the two bukit by-elections are just going to be the same. Do not underestimate the force of Makkal Sakthi. And it doesn't ends there. You would have to deal further with the combined forces of Anak Bangsa Malaysia Spirit and the Might of The Barisan Rakyat Bloggers.
For more than 2 decades at helm, you didn't do anything for Indian folks and you go around promising that you have project plans for Bukit Selambau folks. Only fools would believe a stunt like that. Samy, go to Hell!

The Might

Zaid Ibrahim Does It Again.. Bukit Gantang, Datuk?

Datuk Zaid Ibrahim has made an impassioned plea to the King to not appoint Datuk Seri Najib Razak as prime minister, and instead appoint someone else from Umno "to bring us back from the brink."

"A prime minister must have the confidence of the majority of the rakyat…For this to be the case there cannot be anything in the mind of the greater public that, correctly or otherwise, associates him with matters of criminality, wrongful action, improper conduct or abuses of power," he said in a speech to the Rotary Club here today.

In his speech, Zaid also made reference to what has been described as the kind of baggage that no other Malaysian leader had on entering office.

He has been linked on the internet and by political rivals to the brutal murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu although he has firmly denied involvement and there is no evidence to tie him to the death.

Najib's popularity rating also stands at just 41 per cent, according to a recent poll by the independent Merdeka Centre.

Zaid said that while he did not intend any accusation, he felt that Najib was not beyond reproach in the collective mind of the rakyat.

"The rakyat has doubts, fuelled by the unanswered allegations against him. It is not a mere trifle in the minds of the rakyat that despite a direct challenge from a member of parliament recently, the deputy prime minister remained silent," he said.

Zaid also cited the RM400 million in commissions reportedly paid by the Defence Ministry while Najib was minister for the procurement of submarines, and pointed out that Abdul Razak Baginda, the DPM's friend was an agent in the deal.

The Altantuya murder was also cited by Zaid, who pointed out that there were many unanswered questions which the public deserved to be told about.

He also described the recent power grab in Perak as an unmitigated disaster.

"They (the public) now equate him with the high-handed tactics that were employed to seize power.

"With all of this and more, how are we not to feel anxious? How are we to sleep peacefully at night?"

Zaid said that while the King is required under the Constitution to appoint the person who commands the confidence of the majority of the members of parliament, it is a matter for His Majesty's judgment.

"There is no constitutional obligation on His Majesty to appoint the president of Umno as the prime minister.

"There are still well qualified members of parliament from Umno who can be appointed PM to bring us back from the brink." Read rest of the story here.

A timely plea from this man of principle who was sacked for refusing to budge from his principle to satisfy the ego of his fellow colleagues during his tenure as a Law Minister.

Barisan Rakyat Bloggers were indeed honoured to have the chance encounter with Datuk Zaid Ibrahim during our trip to the Kuala Terenganu by-election. It was also during one of our nightly discussion, The Whisperer noticed that Datuk Zaid is a man of few words. There he was, listening attentively to our talks and when he speaks, he speaks volume. The Whisperer cant help but to hold great admiration towards this great man. It was indeed a great pleasure to have this man walking with us for a few days in Kuala Terenganu.

So Datuk, how about Bukit Gantang to relive the KT's spirit? Perhaps, this time We Walk the Anak Bangsa Malaysia talk for A Better Malysia Beyond Racial Segregation. Read his speech here.

Bukit Gantang: Umno Is Left With Only One Theme Play...

After the Umno recent coup d'etat of the Perak's state assembly through unlawful means with the help of the state monarchy, Umno has incurred the wrath of most Perakians.

That shameful episode has not only woke Perakians up but the whole country's population in general. Again, the voice of the people have been ignored. To make matter worse, the blatant abuses of power after that episode have leave a bad taste in every thinking citizen mouth.
With that episode still looming in the court of law, Perak is now officially without an effective government. Any promises make by Zambry for the coming by-election can be regarded as utter rubbish.
I honestly dont see how Umno is going to win in this parliamentary by-election with this kind of negative sentiment against them.
And if we look at the racial breakdown of the constituent, we can expect Umno to capitalize once again on the monarchy with their questionable 'loyalty' hoping to win back some Malay's votes. And Hope, it shall remains.
When are they going to realize that their tricks wont work on the people anymore? Perhaps, that is not Najib's primary worry at all. Like he has said earlier, Bukit Gantang would not be a referendum. Not a referendum as far as he is concerned because his intention is only to stay in power with his people to further enrich themselves through the rape of our natural resources and defining policies that would further burden the rakyat. Read my earlier post here for their intention all these while after the tsunami shock.
Lets not rest on our laurels. All the by-election win is important to the people. At least, allow it to be a testimony that the voice of The People has spoken again and see how much longer they want to continue to ignore the wishes of The People.

And Win, We Must!! A good win with a big majority would further fuel the strength of Our Voice in Unity. Let this by-election be a referendum to The People's Power. Let Our Voice be heard across Our Land. Vote against the Corrupted and Lawless BN administration!

Ultra Racist Ali Rustam Barred: Politics The Umno Way..

Umno deputy presidential aspirant Mohd Ali Rustam has been barred from contesting in the upcoming party polls. Read more here..
There you go.. This is how Umno operates. The way they bulldozed their way lawlessly through their controlled machinery namely the police force and the judiciary, is like they are the law and are above the law. They can blatantly twist and turn the law to facilitate their selective prosecution to their advantages. And today, we have one of our lawmaker being charged with sedition act for merely uttering that he would sue the Perak sultan for playing Najib's game in a coup d'etat over the Perak state assembly while their so called royal traitors roamed free till today after a large dissenting demonstration against the Terengganu's Sultan choice of Menteri Besar some time last year.
And just awhile ago, ultra racist Ali Rustam gets his share of Umno's political play despite being from the same family. It is like a case of killing their own siblings or their own parents to get what they want. So much for morality. But dont get me wrong here. I am only pinpointing their immoral politicking. I am no supporter of Ali Rustam or any of the low breed from Umno. Guilty of money politics yet remained The Chief Minister of Malacca. Umno boleh in Bodohland!!
That was exactly why I have not been blogging recently. More like getting sick of their childishness and arrogance.

Batang Ai: BN Politicians Start Worrying..

Yes, there is a storm brewing in Batang Ai. This time, it is between Sarawak state administration representatives and the bloggers. At least, these idiots are not as dumb as their peninsular counterpart to ignore the influence of the bloggers. Here's some unprecedented reactions from them:-

Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president James Masing has accused Dayak bloggers of playing politics by raising issues concerning the community.

"The bloggers raising issues about Dayaks are pitting members of the community against one another," said Masing, who is state land development minister, when asked to comment on a Malaysiakini report about the role of Dayak bloggers in the coming Batang Ai by-election.

Playing politics by raising issues concerning the community? Very funny, James. There are so much truth behind the issues concerning the community. Only this time, they are very much aware what you bastards have been doing all this while. Empty promises, lies and the disparity in terms of standard of living between the decents and the corrupted.

Deputy Chief Minister Alfred Jabu warned that if PKR wins the Batang Ai by-election, there would be political turmoil in Sarawak.

"The political turmoil in the peninsula could creep into Sarawak, if PKR wins the Batang Ai by-election. Recent incidents in west Malaysia involving PKR and its Pakatan Rakyat partners show that the opposition is disrespectful of culture, customs and even the royal institution.

Hello Fredo... Is that a threat? Or fear mongering? Careful, idiot! You can be charge for making such a seditious statement. Seditious as our PM described it only last year. Turmoil? Looks like you corrupted idiots have more to lose than us. Don't forget that all of you have all the riches and quality of life while we have been forced to fight just to have basic food on our table. And fight we will, to bring about The Change.
Just Bring Them On and We Shall Show Them The Warrior Side In Us.

60B Stimulus Package: Brace Yourself For Further Inflation

The government has unveiled a RM60 billion stimulus package today as it attempts to arrest the export-driven economy's slide into recession.
The RM60 billion package will be implemented over a two-year period from 2009 to 2010. Deputy premier Najib Razak, who is due to take over as prime minister at the end of this month, announced the details of the spending plan when tabling the Supplementary Supply Bill 2009, or mini budget, in Parliament. The package, which is equivalent to 9 percent of last year’s GDP, is broken down as follows:
- RM15 billion in fiscal injection
- RM25 billion in guarantee funds
- RM10 billion in equity investment
- RM7 billion for private finance initiative and off-budget projects
- RM 3 billion in tax initiatives
Read more here..
No details yet but it doesn't takes an economic genius to figure out that all those stimuli stated above need funding. And where would this funding come from? Again, it is safe for me to conclude that the rakyat would eventually be burdened with rising costs of living.
Nothing new from this rotting clueless government. Not only we have to pay taxes, we basically have to pay for all their corrupted practices through lopsided pacts with the toll concessionaires, independent power producers and many others. On top of that, this government is making money out of us from fixing gasoline price at the present level.
60B stimulus package may look good in number and it does not look people friendly at all. Lets wait for the detailed breakdown. We need to worry about the implementation later. But do brace yourself for further inflationary pressure.
This stimulus package already stinks even before its implementation.

So this is the government spending program. Boom time for cronies and corruptors! How many of these are going to end up as white elephants? Many of these are open to abuses.
Another way of telling us that we are seriously in deep shit! Just like those announcement of curbing with shares and property financing before the 1997-98 financial crisis.

Put Najib's PM-Ship On Hold Until He's Clear Of His Involvement in Altantuya's Murder Case...

First, we have RPK's sedition trial where the Investigation Officer of Altantuya's murder case refused to cooperate but admittedly said that he did not question Najib at all despite Najib's name was being implicated in the murder of Altantuya.
And today, we are going to have an explosive documentary revelation by a French journalist, Arnaud Dubus on the murder of Altantuya which threatens to blow open the whole case and make a laughing joke out of our judiciary system and our present Umno led administration.
Read the prelude to the coming revelation here, here and here.

"A report from the Malaysian police, written on 19th november 2006 and which has been kept secret until now, reveals dry and precise descriptions as to how this young woman, a member of Asian high society, has been killed. In this document, one of the killers, a policeman of the Malaysian Special Branch named Sirul Omar, replied to the questions of an officer at a police station close to the murder scene. “When the Chinese woman saw that I was taking a gun, she begged me to spare her, saying she was pregnant. Azilah (the commanding officer of Sirul) grabbed her and [threw] her on the ground. I immediately shot the left side of her face. Then Azilah took off her clothes and put them in a black plastic bag. Azilah noticed that her hand was still moving. He ordered me to shoot again, which I did”, said Sirul. This is the first confirmation of Altantuya’s assassins’ identity. “Then we carried her body into the woods. Azilah wrapped the explosives around her legs, her abdomen and her head, and we exploded her."

Send Kugan's Murderers To HELL...

Read full independent pathologist report here..
Now let us wait and see what they have to say here. From the first pathologist report and those involved in trying to cover up this murder. Who order this cover up and the falsifying of post mortem report?
And to the Pekida moron who made the report against the AG just a few days back, what do you have to say now? Put yourself in Kugan's shoes, I bet you would wimp like a dog and died halfway through the beatings.
Can we have the first pathologist's report here for comparison?
