So are we going to remain strong and finish strong toward This Fight for a Better Malaysia? The choice is yours. As for me, I have been picking up myself for a good part of my life and I am not quitting now either. I say this fight continues... It 's not over till it's over.

It Turned Out To Be A Bon Voyage Party To ISA...

Pete hurriedly posted an article 'One Nation of One People' and he mentioned about rushing off to join a 'bon voyage to Kamunting' party. And this, I beg to differ. The party started off on a good mode with the early birds and supporters streaming in endlessly and before long, the whole wharf was packed. The atmosphere was jovial and the spirits were high. And if I were to assess the theme of last night party, it would a bon voyage party to the draconian ISA.

It may appeared in these pics that this party may be Haris's but for all those who came, their mood werent any lesser. Haris was just lucky and I am going to make sure that I leave my digicam at home for the next do. I would rather be holding on to these sweeties than to hold that little metal box. Nevertheless, I was happy just to see Pete back to his usual self and ready to take the next 3 steps forward. Nothing really matters after that.

And we had a moment with God with Pat Lu reciting the prayers. Many of us were visibly moved by the prayers. Thanks Pat for the beautiful recital. It was a meaningful and touching gesture. For that moment, I really felt Him and He is watching over us. Amen to that.

And the party began with a birthday song to our evergreen Queenie followed by some loud sing along and some dances. Do all these look like a bon voyage to Kamunting party for Pete? Whatever it is, we certainly do know how to Rock and Rock, We did! Just ask those Umno goonies and they can tell you better.

More takes from different perspective here, here and here...

Pete,You Will Never Walk Alone...

One Step Back, Three Steps Forward
I have maintained my silence ever since RPK's article 'Probably my last message to Malaysians' was published slightly more than two days ago. The article caught me by surprise and made me wept uncontrollably for a good half hour as each and every words of his pierced deep into my heart.
It took me awhile to get out of my emotional state and gave his message a serious thought. What could make a Man of his Calibre come out with such a statement? Could it be the Perak fiasco that finally break him? This is not difficult for me to relate. For a man who has dedicated and sacrificed a good part of his life in fighting for a better Malaysia and especially after the 12th GE momentum, many turn of events thereafter can be quite disheartening. And it is also part of our failure to keep up with his intense pace and provide him with enough support that further drove him to this state.
I may not have the privilege that Haris, Bernard, Delcapo and many others who have walked with him for quite awhile but it doesnt takes a rocket scientist to figure out how much this one man has done to change the landscape of Malaysia political arena to what it is today.
My first real encounter with him was during the first sedition trial despite being an avid follower of his articles for years and only to gain momentum after his habeas corpus release on 7th Nov last year. Though my personal encounter with him is short, he has shown me hope for a better Malaysia and has been a great inspiration to me to take up this fight and push for Change. I am sure many of you out there share my sentiment judging from the comments that have been posted around the blogosphere.
Pete, with all due respect, please reconsider your decision. You are no quitter as far as I am concerned. One step back, three step forward, is what you told me. And it is time to take a step back. When you move forward this time, The Whisperer shall walk with you all the way. This is just the beginning of another battle, so to speak and You Will Never Walk Alone Again!

Why So Much Fuss Over The Poll Date... Just Bring Them On Anytime, Anywhere...

Pakatan coalition cant be serious if they expect the Election Commission dogs to remain fair when it comes to making a decision on polling date for by-election. The manner the EC chairman rejected those Perak's state assemblymen resignation letters is already a tell tale sign that our EC is not independent and will never be independent for as long as the present administration remain in power. That's the rotting system that we have been manifested with for decades.
For god sake, stop all the barking and look to the ground for signs. All the available signs and the sentiment after the Perak fiasco point towards a Pakatan sweep in the coming by-elections. No wonder Brother RPK rapped all of you for lacking foresightedness.
Will you people just concentrate on what is to come and prepare yourselves for one of the dirtiest by-election by the ever desperate Najis.

With the current sentiment, The Whisperer is confident of victories in these two coming by-election. To make matter worse for Najib, this time both victories will come with an even bigger majority. Najib's track record for by-election will be a total whitewash since Permatang Pauh except for his hostile coup d'etat over the Perak state government if we really have to take that into consideration. Even so, that does not justify his qualification to be our Prime Minister. Not to mention all other past cases that implicate him.. Sukhoi, Scorpene, Eurocopter and perhaps, Altantuya and many many more.
These by-election shall serve as a referendum to those in power and shall be taken as the people has spoken. Suara Rakyat, Suara Keramat. It would be a grave mistake to ignore this Voice. Any attempt to bulldoze their way with power abuses would spell further destruction to the Umno already rotten image.

Ku Li: I Opposed Those Constitution Amendments...

“Today’s crisis in Perak is about the legitimacy of the process by which a new state government has been formed in Perak. It’s not about the status of the Rulers,” Tengku Razaleigh said in his latest post titled “1993”.
“In comparison, the constitutional crisis of 1993 arose from an ugly confrontation between Umno and the Rulers over a question that had direct and profound implications on their sovereignty and that of the Yang DiPertuan Agong. For good reason, the Head of State in most countries may not be prosecuted in an ordinary court of law. In 1993, the government campaigned to remove this immunity through amendments to the Constitution. Read more here.
Just a trip down memory lane here. I remember how bad the situation was then with countless demonstrations held across the nation by Umno goons protesting against ALL The Royalty. Did all our Rulers forget about that 1993 incident? Perhaps, the saying about Malaysian having short memory rings true. Or maybe Umno manage to hold some of them by their royal balls for some unexplained reasons.
I ll just let all you people decide as to who pose a bigger threat to the Royalty. Umno or The People's government? Any idea who was the Yang DiPertuan Agong then? HRH Sultan Azlan Muhibbiddin Shah, it was.

Friday The 13th: Altantuya Is Back To Haunt Again...

Pic from Bodohland
The lights in the courtroom dimmed for a second. A sudden gush of cold breeze brushed across the exposed skin of my body. Goose started to break out all over my body. The whole courtroom was engulfed with a strong presence... A strong presence of a Spirit watching among us through the proceedings. The witness started spilling...
This bizarre phenomenon actually happened at around 10:45 am at the PJ Sessions Court yesterday.
Well, at least I felt it happened. Maybe I slipped unconsciously into the opposite realm. Or perhaps, it was just the courtroom air conditioning compressor jumping to life. Nevertheless, it was spooky...
So, did you sleep well last night, Najib?

RPK's Date At The Palace Of Justice...

The Palace Of Justice

This is not exactly the place you want to go for a date. This is the place where appeals are heard by Federal Court judges and Pete was required to be here on the Home Ministry appeal against his habeas corpus release.

A number of Pete's hardcore supporters came in support and many more were with us in Spirit as it was a working day.
All of us jostled into the courtroom well before 9am. We were told by the our lawyer that there are 25 appeals to be heard today and Pete's case is number 22th and 25th on the list. Another long day ahead, I thought to myself.
When the police brought in all the case related 'criminals', we were force to give up our seats and squeezed into other benches. Imagine the courtroom can only seat around 50 people at any one time. Some Palace of Justice, it is.
Please refer here and here for detail of the appeal hearing.

What really puzzles me during my visit to The Palace of Justice was that this so called palace house only 4 courtrooms and I was told only 3 are functional at any one time despite all its grandeur. Hundreds of millions of taxpayers dollars was used to built something of this magnitude and this is all we get. Something good for the eyes. Perception to justify the usage of taxpayers dollars. Blatant wastage to be topped up with morgue-like atmosphere except for some actions at level 2 only when the 3 courtrooms swing into action.

The Justice Muzuem remained close

RPK's Sedition Trial: Witness Evasive While Under Oath...

Pete With His Counsels During A Break

I was there this morning to follow the proceeding after missing out the Tuesday proceeding. Supt Gan was again put on the witness stand. Being the Investigating Officer for Altantuya C4 case, he was either refusing to answer the counsel's line of questioning or he would just replied he wasn't aware or claim to have no knowledge despite being instructed to answer by the judge. Isn't that a contempt of court? I am no lawyer so I ll just leave that to the judge to decide.
But I would like to have my two cent take on this matter. Since the questions was on matters relating to Supt Gan's investigating on the murder of Altantuya, I dont see why he cant answer those questions with ease. Somehow along the line of questioning and the witness evasive actions, I cant help but to doubt the manner the investigation on Altantuya case was conducted. This witness knew something and is holding back the truth. And if I were to link those text messages exchange between two person with the investigating officer's behaviour, Altantuya case investigation sure smells like rotten fish.
No matter what and at the end of the day, Truth and Justice shall Prevail!
Sedition trial is scheduled to continue on 23rd and 24th of April.

Markus Ng: A True Anak Bangsa Malaysia At Heart...

Markus Ng was a fine young man who came and walked with us during our 7th Candlelight Vigil. And since then, He has been a regular figure among us because He shared Our Cause and Our Vision for One Nationhood beyond Race and Religion.

Markus In Happy Mood Among Anak Bangsa Malaysia

Markus Listening With Deep Attention

Markus Among His Close Friends

Probably One Of Our Last Stand Together
And on 4th February 2009, he was taken from us to be in The Grace of God. He shall be sadly missed but his legacy shall lives on...

Something that he left behind here ... reflects alot about him.

O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger

or discipline me in your wrath.

For your arrows have pierced me,
and your hand has come down upon me.

Because of your wrath there is no health in my body;
my bones have no soundness because of my sin.

My guilt has overwhelmed me
like a burden too heavy to bear.

My wounds fester and are loathsome
because of my sinful folly.

I am bowed down and brought very low;
all day long I go about mourning.

My back is filled with searing pain;
there is no health in my body.

I am feeble and utterly crushed;
I groan in anguish of heart.

All my longings lie open before you, O Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you.

My heart pounds, my strength fails me;
even the light has gone from my eyes.

I am like a deaf man, who cannot hear,
like a mute, who cannot open his mouth;

I have become like a man who does not hear,
whose mouth can offer no reply.

I wait for you, O LORD;
you will answer, O Lord my God.

For I am about to fall,
and my pain is ever with me.

I confess my iniquity;
I am troubled by my sin.

O LORD, do not forsake me;
be not far from me, O my God.

Come quickly to help me,
O Lord my Savior.

Message from Markus’ family [February 5th, 2009]
To all of Markus’ friends and extended family:
Thank you all so much for the support shown to the family and all the heart-warming tributes to Markus. The family is truly touched by all the messages from everyone who has come together to share stories about Markus and how he has touched your lives.
You must all be wondering what actually happened to Markus. The truth is until now, the cause of his death is still not certain. Postmortem findings were negative so far, but there are more tests to be done.
Markus started working with UNICEF in November 2008. He had been working almost non-stop in the past week, sleeping only 3-4 hours a day. He came back from the office at 3am the night before his death and was found dead on his bed the next morning. His computer was still switched on. Obviously he had continued working even after coming home.
After much discussion with doctors, our theory is that his acute stress could have caused some biochemical (electrolyte) imbalance which triggered a cardiac arrythmia (sudden disarray of heart rhythm) and cardiac arrest. The whole thing is at the biochemical level and therefore, there are no organ changes to be detected at post-mortem.
The family is still trying very hard to cope with this sudden loss. Markus was not an ordinary son, friend and person. He was a future leader who genuinely cared for the society and the country. In fact, he had been in contact with former student leaders from the UK to nurture the next generation of political leaders for the country. Markus had truly been an exceptional young man and his passing is a great loss to the family, his friends and the country.
May he rest in peace and the memory of him live on forever.

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Markus Ng who was born in Malaysia on May 06, 1985. Markus passed away suddenly in his sleep in his family home in Kuala Lumpur on February 04, 2009 at the age of 23.

Anwar Should Call For Crossover And Takeover The Federal Government Now...

We have in the past since the 12GE been subjected to news of possible crossover from BN for Pakatan Rakyat to take over the the federal government. The hype of Sept 16th did not materialize. Again, we were assured that Anwar still have the number to takeover the federal government.
I, for one, wasn't keen on the Sept 16th hype as I personally felt that the timing wasn't right then. Today and after the Perak fiasco, I feel that it is the right time for Anwar to take this opportunity to unleash his ultimate weapon and shake the BN coalition big time.
DSAI, do you still have the number?
It's time to go for the kill and change Malaysia's landscape once and for all. We, The People are ready for the Mother of All Battle!!

Why Snap Poll For Perak State Is A MUST!?

The recent coup d'etat launched by Najib over the Perak State government with the immoral buying off Pakatan Rakyat's state assemblymen has somehow insulted the electorate and made a mockery out of the democracy process of this country.

Political Whores

Despite the absurd ruling of the Election Commission over the resignation of the 2 corruption tainted assemblymen and the heavy presence of money politics, the rule of Perak State remains on razor-thinned majority.

The question now is what would be the best solution to settle this issue once and for all. First, we must look into the sentiment of the electorate during the 12GE. The electorate then was voting for Change. Thus, the question of the electorate voting for individual and not party does not arise here. With this immoral crossing-over, the electorate had once been betrayed again.

Then we look into the stability factor of this coup d'etat. What if one or two months down the road there is another crossing over by BN state reps to PR? The possibilty is there and we may have to face this process over and over again until the 13GE.

Based on these simple factors, The Whisperer feels that a snap poll for Perak State would be the only viable and wise decision. Give the mandate back to Perakians and let The People decide once and for all. At the end of the day, both parties must abide by The People's mandate.

I trust HRH Sultan Azlan Shah has the wisdom and his subjects in mind to come out with a decision favorable to his subjects.

Daulat Tuanku!

Update:

The office of the Sultan of Perak, in a statement, said that after meeting all the 28 BN assemblypersons and the three independents, the sultan was convinced that Mohd Nizar had ceased to command the confidence of the majority of the state assembly members."If YAB Datuk Seri Ir. Mohammad Nizar bin Jamaluddin does not resign his post as Perak menteri besar together with the members of the state executive council, the posts of menteri besar and state executive councillors are considered vacant," the statement said.

The Whisperer think there is more to this.. HRH Sultan Azlan Shah may have erred simply because of his failure to take 12GE consensus into consideration.The 3 frogs cannot be taken into consideration for their credilbility has gone down the drain and cannot be taken as representative of the people in their electorate. No snap polls but by-election must be held for this 3 electorates. With one dubious decision like this, all my respect for him went down the drain. All those past words of wisdom are after all just talks that don't walk. I feel sorry for the people of this country. Once again, the people's voice and rights is been neglected and betrayed by political hypocrisy.One helluva rotting stinking system we are having here.

The People shall rise again from this major setback and sweep across this land.

We are on our own now yet, We are not all alone. Stand up and take your stand. Together, We shall Rule! Say Yes To The Peoples' Power!

No By-Election In Perak: No Big Deal...

Courtesy of Mkini

The Election Commission today announced that by-elections are not necessary for the state seats of Changkat Jering and Behrang as there are doubts over the resignation letters said to have been submitted by the elected representatives. Read all here..
So what is the big forking deal here? The Election Commission is just another of their slimy worm. All is not lost as far as I am concerned. And since Najib has taken over from Tajol Rosli, The Whisperer thinks that Perak MB should dissolve the State Assembly and call for a fresh state election. This is the best opportunity for The People to send the message across to Najib that We do not want him to be our next Prime Minister and at the same time, weed out all the unqualified and suspicious state assemblyman from the Pakatan Rakyat ruling coalition and to be replaced with people with people-oriented calibre.
MB Mohamad Nisar, kindly consider my suggestion here.
Perhaps, Pak Lah might want to consider taking this to higher plateau by calling for a snap election. With the recent polling on Haris's blog and the consensus on the drastic drop in Najib's popularity by Merdeka Review, it is high time to inflict the final blow on this badly tainted politician. Why not? Afterall, he is the one behind all the sabotages which made Pak Lah's tenure as PM miserable.
Need more reasons? How about this and this?
Pak Lah, for your love to the country and the people, please take this opportunity and do us a favor and call for a snap election to stop this rot once and for all.
This shall be the last appeal made to you from Anak Anak Bangsa Malaysia. Your last chance to right the wrongs and go down gracefully in history...

Mesra Rakyat Ended On Different Note Despite The Same Outcome...

Rushing from our solidarity with Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to our weekly Malam Mesra Rakyat gathering, we were again told to disperse by the cops. There were more than a dozen SBs surrounding us with more uniformed troops backing them up. FRU were called in too.

Eventhough I was kinda pissed with them worms for stopping our peaceful vigil, I must give credit to this young copper, Najib (pic above) who approached us and advised us to disperse in such a diplomatic manner rather than those earlier incidents where his seniors just shouted through their hailer and threatened us. The Whisperer takes this as a good sign for our future police force when all the authoritative old ones die off or put to sleep.
Our request for our National Anthem to be sang before dispersing were entertained. After the National Anthem and a round of applause, most of us offered this young officer a handshake and a 'thank you'. Officer Najib, The People shall remember your kind gesture. Perhaps, you werent agreeable with your superior's order but that is inmaterial. What matters most is that the manner you handled this situation put all your superior to shame and that includes CPO Khalid Abu Bakar, IGP Musa Hassan and Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar.
My Salute to this officer and all the braves who came to stand by us unconditionally.
More report and pics here: Sanjiun, Paradise Storm and kkitsam.
